Al Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 Ignore him Mrs. American. To me you are the very essence of feminine pulchritude.

Cocker Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 More the use of the word "cow". As for the other, she's enjoying it, just nervous to have to meet people. American, I dont think this has come accross as it should have. when Brian used the phrase "poor, poor cow" it wasnt an insult but if anything he was sticking up for her. It would be like if you read in the paper that some girl had started to date Stan Collymore then you would say "poor, poor cow" Do you see?
American Posted April 16, 2005 Author Posted April 16, 2005 I do see now. Different connotations over here.
ABBEY Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 PICS STUUFF EM LOL GO MRS AMERICAN ..........................YOU ARE THE ONLY DREAM I HAVE :p69 LOL
blue phil Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 More the use of the word "cow". That's not really an insult over here - more of a friendly term in most cases..... Nice udders by the way ...
broadsword Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 but if anything he was sticking up for her. Unfortunate choice of phrase! Glad I didn't cause offence in the end, none was intended ...
Cocker Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 MGP Has dropped you right in it this time. Have we had our fill or is there more to come The decision is yours
LeChuck Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 You didn't take your time, did you? Is it really that lonely in the Isle Of Man...?
cole Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 You didn't take your time, did you? Is it really that lonely in the Isle Of Man...? well, it's not called the isle of woman, now is it?
Mrs. American Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 I see American wasn't kidding when he said I should read the board to learn English. Cow means a fat chick this side of the pond. Is there an American to English slang dictionary available? Then I could get the definition of 'baps'... Not stopping - American wouldn't let me if I tried. (I'm waiting for him to announce he's running off to do low budget porn films anyday now.) Sadly though, pictures must wait until American comes home from work on Thursday. Unless someone is nearby to help with the camera? (God am I going to get in trouble for that comment!)
Cocker Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 You didn't take your time, did you? Is it really that lonely in the Isle Of Man...? well, it's not called the isle of woman, now is it? Tis lonley when there is only something to do once a year (when TT week comes a round) For the rest of it all I do is work/pub/look at the lovely pics of Mrs American/goto B & Q with my Mrs before she catches me looking at the pics of Mrs American

Ste B Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I was going to say I bet somebody on here wishes we were going down this year, but that could easily be taken in the wrong manner.
Dan Furness Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I was going to say I bet somebody on here wishes we were going down this year, but that could easily be taken in the wrong manner. Trust you to comment on that
Mrs. American Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Glenn - Thanks -it's a bloody useful site! Ste. - How do you think American convinced me to do this? -snicker-
philipl Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Got to admit, having PNE in the top division for the first time since 1961/2 would have a certain novelty value.
brfcshabba Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 You sure that this is the right thread philipl
philipl Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 Oops- thought I'd posted in the Nob End thread. On second thoughts, perhaps I have anyway.
USABlue Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Unless someone is nearby to help with the camera? (God am I going to get in trouble for that comment!) Mrs American, if you find yourself in that predicament again, Arizona is not THAT far from MA. You would need a fast shutter speed though cos I don't know if I would be able to stop shaking , Let's have a win today heh.
baldybobbo Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Mrs American, have you retired or are we in for a double whammy when we beat Birmingham?
