James No. 7 Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 My prediction: 1 - 0 to Rovers, with MGP scoring the winner.

andyrovers Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 I'll go for a draw. Dickov to score. Anything else will be a"Brucie Bonus". Just about to set off for Pompey, hope it doesnt rain !!
Jim J Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Just about to set off for Pompey, hope it doesnt rain !! you walking? I'll go for a draw, 0-0.
Ozz Posted January 15, 2005 Author Posted January 15, 2005 Maybe this will keep his mind off scoring a hatrick this afternoon. Or maybe not.
philipl Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Unfortunately he probably wants to go out on a high and add a chunk onto the transfer fee boosting his cut. Macabi Tel Aviv get 50%!!! of the sell-on fee and have a written requirement that the player HAS to be sold if an offer of more than £6m is received.
Eddie Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 He's good...but worth that much? I'm not sure. I was surprised to see how good his stats were though. Rovers 3-1

If thats the case, and that information is freely available, then why are Newcastle offering £10M? Oh yea, I forgot-Souness is in charge. Never knowingly underpaid.
daheri Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Team: Friedel Nelson - Mokoena - Todd - Nisse Emerton - Thompson - Tugay - MGP Dickov - Gallagher Subs: enckelmann, reid, jansen, stead, gray
Ozz Posted January 15, 2005 Author Posted January 15, 2005 (edited) That team basically starts big and gets smaller and smaller till you get to Dicky. MGP starts, Tugay back-could get torn a part here... Edited January 15, 2005 by ozziejones
RoyRover Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 It is good to see Nelsen and Mokoena making their debuts. However I would have pushed for Mokoena starting in the midfield with Thompson, keeping Nissa in the centre and bringing Gray in at left back. Hughes is obviously prepared to give Pedersen his chance in the team, which is good to see. It is nice to see Jansen back on the bench as well as Gray. Come on Rovers!
Blackpool_Rover Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Anyone having problems with rovers world!? I cant hear anything, im listenin on radio lancs at the mo but wud prefer rovers world.
millionpints Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Anyone having problems with rovers world!? I cant hear anything, im listenin on radio lancs at the mo but wud prefer rovers world. working fine for me turn your volume up!
Rovermatt Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Shearer just got his 400th goal. What a legend.
sleepyjack Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Andy Todd is captain today. MGP on the touchline "trying to change his underwear" according to Roversworld. Nervous?
modes98 Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 good old andy d'urso being shocking again. 4 players booked for rovers, could have sent off amdy faye!
Maverick Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 (edited) Three yellow cards allready. Doesn't sound good for the second half. Have to change it to four. Edited January 15, 2005 by Maverick
James No. 7 Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Four yellow cards so far, and three of them are defenders: Johansson, Mokoena, Nelsen, and Emerton.
yellowsubmarine Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Surprisingly Dickov is not one of them. Todd's the only defender not to get yellow card. Kudos to him for keeping a cool head.
tchocky Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Dickov sounds unusually quiet today. Mokoena's yellow can be blamed squarely on Thommo: free kick in a good position and the whole team sent up he attempts a short pass to Tugay which is nowhere near reaching him, resulting in a counter which Moko has to stop.
