blue phil Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Rovers 2 - 1 Colchester Att - 13,528. Surely to goodness there'll be more than that there . I'm going for a 2-1 win and a 18,000 crowd . And I don't want to see Ferguson ....
Izzitnot Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 watch out for an ex blues youth team player craig fagan, he is thin and pretty light weight but has a bad disciplinary record, also very quick
Matt_CUFC Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Evening chaps, Looking forward to the game now - the team are already up there and then we all set off at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning. Should be a good match, think a crowd of about 15,000 is likely. Enjoy the game!
Quack Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 I for one am looking forward to this game, 2 - 0 to Rovers - I wonder if Fergie's "groin strain" will rule him out - I would not mind seeing Matty / Stead play up front with Nelsen at right back.

Poita Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 3-1 rovers Savage to score his first goal for rovers
modes98 Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 I read on SSN earlier that dickov is a doubt with a groin strain! Don't know if this is right! But i don't think hughes would risk him if he has strained it!
Ewood Spark Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 And I don't want to see Ferguson .... Well do what you did for the Cardiff game and don't bother turning up
dave birch Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Seeing as I've got a liver on, Matty, it's NELSEN. What are we when we can't spell our players names correctly.
broadsword Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Maybe we could just get Ryan to change his name? Seems easier than getting people to spell his name right.
mattyc2422 Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Seeing as I've got a liver on, Matty, it's NELSEN. What are we when we can't spell our players names correctly. Whoops, my bad. They spell funny over that side of the Tasman.
philipl Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Rovers team: Johnson lone striker, no Ferguson. Quite possibly 4-3-3 Matteo starts, Nelsen on the bench.
mattyc2422 Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Jemal Johnson making his first start for Blackburn Rovers. Well done lad. Bang 'em in.
RoyRover Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 It's good to see Johnson coming in for Bothroyd, who was shocking on Monday.
mattyc2422 Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Whats the full line-up? Friedel Neill - Todd - Mokoena - Matteo Emerton - Thompson - Savage - Tugay - MGP Johnson. Not sure of the arrangement of the midfield though.
krislu Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 (edited) Whats the full line-up? Friedel - Neill, Todd, Mokoena, Matteo, Emerton, Savage, Thompson, Tugay, Pedersen, Johnson. Subs: Enckelman, Stead, Gallagher, Reid, Nelsen Might be 4-3-3, or MGP is playing up front alongside Johnson Edited January 29, 2005 by krislu
Eddie Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 When you mean 4-3-3 are you including wingers as being part of the 3 up front? So that for me that would still be 4-5-1? Or do you actually think that they are playing alongside each other. I'd suspect that it's 4-4-2 with Pedersen up front as he did fill in that role in the Cardiff replay for a bit.
youandwhosearmy Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 i think stead should have been given a go up front today, to try and get some confidence back
James No. 7 Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Radio commentary isn'tworking for me on Rovers site (it's showing text commentary, though). Anyone know how to get it working, or know of another one?
