Defender Joins Birmingham

Rovers defender Alex Bruce has joined Birmingham on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Bruce, who had yet to make a first team appearance for Rovers, will join his father Steve Bruce, the Birmingham manager, at the end of his current loan period with Oldham.

Rovers have include a 25% sell on clause in the transfer negociated with Birmingham.
