Bobby G Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Shame. After all this speculation and the impending loss of Ferguson and we will PROBABLy end up with at most Tomo Sokota, who was linked almost 2 weeks ago.

Ste B Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Birmingham deal OFF - Bellamys agent.. just on SSN Bellamy turned it down as timing of deal is wrong.
SuperStella Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 from bbc.co.uk ''Monday may see Craig Bellamy's future resolved - but if he leaves Newcastle it will not be for Birmingham. The Welsh international rejected a move to St Andrews on Monday. ''
Maverick Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Don't think Bellamy want to leave Newcastle. Maybe he thinks Souness will be sacked before next season, so a loan option for the rest of the season would be a better thing. We need to sign a striker before midnight
thenodrog Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 I would give a lot of money to see the look on the faces of the Brum management this morning. Humiliation is just not in it! How can such a recently self proclaimed BIG CLUB not only lose its best player to a minnow but also fail to attract a nailed on cert? Messrs Sullivan and Golds will be spitting fury as we speak. Sullivan especially has been humiliated big time and knowing the little big man as we all do i expect this to be a very very big nail in Steve Bruce's coffin. Dean man walking imo.
philipl Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Dean man walking imo. Is that a Freudian slip?
streakyb Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Cunning move by Bellamy. Souness is not doing as well as wanted, may get sacked. Steve Bruce has shown he likes Bellamy as a player. Steve Bruce most likely replacement for Souness. Therfore once Souey goes, Bellamy is back playing.
Alan75 Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Steve Bruce wont leave Birmingham fo Newcastle. He belives in loyalty
streakyb Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Steve Bruce wont leave Birmingham fo Newcastle. He belives in loyalty Oh yes, i forgot he turned them down last time. He is so loyal, he didnt leave Huddersfield or Palce at all in the lurch
Hughesy Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 I wonder if Robbie Savage had a word in his ear and told them how he was treated by them! The BIG club fail to get their man!
youandwhosearmy Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 they can be the modern day spurs by nearly signing people at least spurs end up getting who they want these days
Shaddy Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Has Bellamy reject a move to Birmingham, because it is too far from Wales
den Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Has Bellamy reject a move to Birmingham, because it is too far from Wales No. He didn't think he could handle the pressures of being with a big club.

Ste B Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Celtic may be in for him.. Henry Camara is going to Southampton.
Ste B Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Bellamys agent hints they have agreed a loan deal. Not sure with which club... probably Brum
Guest Kamy100 Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Radio Five Live saying that Brum want a loan deal and are prepared to pay £500,000 fee and full wages.
moerpho Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 C'mon Rovers - get in there and top Brums offer with another 100,000£ and tempt Bellamy with "the Welsh connection". He surely will score the goals to keep us up as well as a good finish to the season and additional £ come may.....and we all know how good it would feel to snub Brum! Heck - when we've captured Bellamy - offer 'em to take over Bambi Bothroyds loan-contract and throw in Amo while your at it
Izzitnot Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 yeh but we have offered bombscare tebilly as part of the deal for bellamy how can newcastle reject that
Hughesy Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Bellamys agent hints they have agreed a loan deal. Not sure with which club... probably Brum Have you a source to this?

Flopsy Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Toon are saying that they wont let Bellamy out on loan to a club in this country. So if we want him we're going to have to buy him.
