mhead Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Got 2 of mine at 1.30pm ...steady trickle by then. Back Wednesday for the 3 others we need. Numbers so far about right - need to show Dingles and Brum how to run a ticket operation(after years of trying and failing)

LDRover Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Just exactly who 'bricked it'?...I've felt more intimidated in f'kin Junior school! Get your tickets you marde arses. Look forward to seeing you in the Miners then Simon Been to Plumbe Street Miners quite a bit myself. Karaoke on Wednesday nights about 12 years ago was always a good night and the ale was cheap. They knew i was a Rovers fan and were always alright with me. That said I won't be frequenting there a week on Sunday, I don't think I'll be that welcome somehow.

Don't go often myself but still a good night, even has its own restauraunt now - and of course the infamous Brass Line over which women shall not pass. Not suggesting it would generally be a problem for a Rovers fan (though shirt wearing not the best idea - anymore than it was for me in the Pub opposite the King Georges Hall!!!) but not sure on Sunday the 20th the welcome would be over warm - Maybe better trying the Brickmakers
BRFC4EVA Posted February 7, 2005 Author Posted February 7, 2005 Went down at about 2pm for mine, just 3 people getting tickets. around 1000 have been sold. Right then, looks like the ticket touts for this non season ticket holder
Ste B Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 It will not sell out. Those who want a ticket will still get one, even though there has been a certain amount of Stubs being lent to season ticket holders already... or in both stubs and tickets in fact..
Dan Furness Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Im confident, and hoping, it wont sell out by Thursday next week so this non ST holder can get a ticket Ste, are you going on the rattler?
roversWASmylife Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 I phoned up just before nine this morning and was 41st in the queue. I rung back an hour later and was 15th and got two tickets fairly quickly. Last I heard was that we've sold around 1000 at 2pm. Can't wait.
ah Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Just had a quick glance through this topic so apologies if this has already been discussed. Can I get a adult ticket with my daughters season ticket or fathers OAP season ticket ?
trs Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 What time will folk start queing wedensday? I know some say it wont sell out, but I honestly think there will be very few left come wedensday night. So, taking no chances and will be looking at a 6:00 am start.
Linny8 Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Got my tickets and travel - coaches to set off at 11am? What a load of cr4p. Might have to jump on the train so I can enjoy a few bevvies - how far away from the ground is the train staion?

Burnley Central Station is about a 20 minute walk and Burnley Manchester Road is around 10/15 minutes.
Paul Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Just had a quick glance through this topic so apologies if this has already been discussed. Can I get a adult ticket with my daughters season ticket or fathers OAP season ticket ? It isn't usually a problem.
roversWASmylife Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 only 1175 sold today Is that the definite figure? I thought more would have been sold by this time today, possible more will be sold by this time tomorrow. Although I know a lot of Rovers fans wanting to buy tickets on Wednesday morning. By the way Leeds took 4k to Burnley on Saturday.
MarkBRFC Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 By the way Leeds took 4k to Burnley on Saturday. Biggest yorkshire derby of the season though, so it is expected I get my ticket sent to me automatically as im a away season ticket holder, however phoned up this morning to get a ticket for a mate at about 10ish and got through no problem, 2nd in the que!
Paul Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 only 1175 sold today I would have thought this figure plus those who are sent their ticket automatically is about right. Bet there aren't more than 12-1500 who have two away games under their belts this season. Anyone with two stubs knows they will get a ticket so there's no big rush for them. Wednesday will be the true indicator.
Tony Diamond Inc Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Got mine! I haven't looked forward to an away game as much in.... about 4 years and 3 months.

American Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 For those of us stateside, the match will be live on the newly renamed Fox Soccer Channel at 8:30 est Sunday the 20th!!
Ben-2000 Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 (edited) I haven't looked forward to an away game as much in.... about 4 years and 3 months. Tell me about it! I presume the coaches will arrive at Turf Moor around half 11, does that mean we'll all be in the ground for a couple of hours beforehand again!! Last time was just amazing, no doubt my voice will have gone by the monday morning Edited February 8, 2005 by Ben-2000

Last time was just amazing, no doubt my voice will have gone by the monday morning If it's like last time the coaches will be setting off in groups of 10 and some won't leave Ewood till after 11.30. It's just easier to have one time for all but I doubt we will all be in the ground for 2 hours before.
waggy Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 it's amazing how fanatics off teams see thing differently, yesterday there were fans outside the ticket office at ewood from 8am,50 on the phone at 9am,but the seasoned pro's rang after 11 and got striaght through and those who went to the ground encountered no problems after 12. TO ME THIS IS THE BIGGEST GAME OFF THE SEASON,we play our arch rivals in the 5th round off the biggest cup competition in the world.i work with 2 polish lads who i have converted too rovers fans, they would love too go to the turf,so if any season ticket holder could get me 2 adult tickets pm me.
