Eddie Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Manchester United v Chelsea Arsenal v Newcastle Blackburn v Burnley Well got two out of three...though we are away rather than home. Can't wait for it, should be great, and a good chance of getting through as well.

Flopsy Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Burnley shop keepers must be bracing themselves for having their shops trashed by the locals again
RevidgeBlue Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Only ourselves to blame if we don't progress to the last 8.
bazza Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Well need to call out the army to escort us in and out, again! What a draw!!
SharrockDownSouth Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Which do you reckon the BBC will go for? Us, Newc vs Chelsea or Everton vs Manu?
OJRovers Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 get in!! the last match at turf moor was one of the best ive ever been to!
youandwhosearmy Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 knew that was coming, sometimes the draws seem so fixed, like the champions league this season
PABBY Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Tickets are gonna be scarcer than a virgin in Dingleland, but I'll be there, whatever the cost. YYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!
SkinnyBinman Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 I wanted it at home. There's no way everyone that will want a ticket will be able to get one. I'm well pleased but I'll never get a ticket as I'm ashamed to say my presence at Rovers this season has been distinctly poor.
streakyb Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 (edited) Which do you reckon the BBC will go for? Us, Newc vs Chelsea or Everton vs Manu? Most likely some rubbish game no-one would want to watch. Something like Bolton v Derby/Fulham Edited January 31, 2005 by streakyb
Nayef Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Manchester United v Chelsea Arsenal v Newcastle Blackburn v Burnley Well got two out of three...though we are away rather than home. Can't wait for it, should be great, and a good chance of getting through as well. Er... i think you only got one right there Eddie.
Duff's Minder Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Which do you reckon the BBC will go for? Us, Newc vs Chelsea or Everton vs Manu? Most likely some rubbish game no-one would want to watch. so we might be on TV then? Hoorah
Nayef Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Tickets are gonna be scarcer than a virgin in Dingleland, but I'll be there, whatever the cost. YYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!! scarcer or scarier?
Eddie Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Ah yes sorry, mistook Chelsea v Newcastle for Arsenal v Newcastle, oh well, same principle.
philipl Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 (edited) Four games will go live so I would expect we will be one of them. They gave us the south coast derby live in the previous round so surely they've got to cover this north east lancs derby. Newcastle are going to have to do it the hard way if Souness is going to win any silverware this season. Will Everton get the better of Roon Utd? Edited January 31, 2005 by philipl
des Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 well has I live in nelson I do hope that rovers win if there do not I will get some stick some come on rovers and lets hope its on tv because not everyone will be able to get tickets
joey_big_nose Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 (edited) Which do you reckon the BBC will go for? Us, Newc vs Chelsea or Everton vs Manu? Could they not show all three? The deal has been three BBC matches and one Sky per round. In terms of national derbies in the modern era Burnley versus Blackburn is one of the more low profile ones- but if they showed Oldham Bolton I cannot see how they would justify not showing this one. To all Roverites in Edinburgh/Lothian (McClarky etc.) any chance of anyone sorting out a poor student with a lift (obviously I would help pay for petrol etc). I really want to see this game! ps. Just realised I do not have a rats chance in hell of getting a ticket. ######. Edited January 31, 2005 by joey_big_nose
Flopsy Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Im worried about this - knowing rovers we'll lose. However I would love a good game of football - lighthearted friendly banter between the happy and friendly home and away fans reality - shocking game involving nasty tackes, shoddy passing and hatred and fighting between fans. Also Dickov, Todd and Savage to get booked for kicking the opposition. MGP to get kicked all across the pitch. Hmmmm now who lead rovers against Burnley last time? Oh yeah Souness. What was the score? Oh it will be a lunch time kickoff Im guessing to stop the fans getting too ######
boris bear Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Tickets are gonna be scarcer than a virgin in Dingleland, but I'll be there, whatever the cost. YYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!! They have to give us more for a cup game than for a league game don't they? I have an away travel season ticket so I have phoned Barbara already to tell her I want my ticket.
SharrockDownSouth Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 My department head is a damned dingle, as is one of the coders here. Hope we win, even though the subsequent gloating may well cost me my job
berkshireblue Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Forecast this one and cant wait.....knew I bought a season ticket for some reason.. This will be live on TV and sold out...will we have to Bus in and out again? Cmon
Finch Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 We have more to lose than they have remember WE ARE NOT AFRAID! Bring it on!
