cravenblue Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 just spoke to scummings who i work with, he thinks a draw then for us to beat them in the replay. he wasnt too smug about it when i reminded him of the last time we played them, and the aggregate score. think i'll book the monday off just in case!!

Ste B Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Regarless of TV, i would be 99% sure that this game will be a 12pm kick off.
BRFC4EVA Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 (edited) Incredible draw, i cant wait, just hope that i can get a ticket. We are gonna batter the dingles C'MON Only problem would be a ###### early kick off Edited January 31, 2005 by BRFC4EVA
aroversfan Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Just saw the draw, who'd 've though it !! Quarter finals here we come, another 5 goals for us maybe ! Think I'll have to come up to B***** for that, wasn't there a mini riot last time ?!
Finch Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 You can all blame me because I had a premonition about this. As soon as the Dingles were drawn out of the bag I knew we would be next.
Ste B Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Shame they are just selling their best player Chavlow to West Brom as well. Think Peter Reid described it as a "nice tie"
Ozz Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Thet ahve to offer us upto 25% of the available tickets. Roughly 5,000?
SAS Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 i wonder how the tickets will be sold for this one?????? great draw, i can only hope i can get a ticket
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 (edited) Sunday 12:00 kick off and MASSIVE police presence.......bet your life on it!!! Cardiff or Colchester stub's needed?... who's laughing now Ewood stay away's? Edited January 31, 2005 by SIMON GARNERS 194
PABBY Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Thet ahve to offer us upto 25% of the available tickets. Roughly 5,000? We'll get around 3,000 tickets maximum in the Cricket Field stand. There's no way they could segregate the crowd otherwise and the safety lot will have the final say.
longsiders1882 Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 actuallywe don't have to give 25% - that rule has some leeway based upon safety and segregation You will get the cricketfield stand (circa 4500). Very pleased with the draw - though of course will be less pleased if the last score line is repeated. Guarenteed 12 kick off and all leave cancelled for Lancashire Police
BRFC4EVA Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 Thet ahve to offer us upto 25% of the available tickets. Roughly 5,000? Its 15% i think, so basically the stand behind the goal which holds around 4,200.
cole Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 i can't wait for this game i've only been a fan for a few years, so this is my first rovers/dingles matchup... i pray to god it's on fox sports world, or pay per view in the states.
Mike Graham Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 aah I can just imagine it now. A quite stroll to The Dingledom Stadium after Church. a stop off for a half pint of shandy next to the ground for a bit of banter with the fine and friendly locals. A Jonnie Stead hat trick and a spot of shopping afterwards in Burnley town centre before catching the bus back to Blackburn Boulevard. I love these derbies; they bring out the best in Society.
mattyc2422 Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Biggest match in a few years. If we do not win this match, our players have no heart, no passion for the club and no place at our club. Go you Rovers.
Eddie Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Hmmm...I think we've had bigger matches. Hopefully there will be bigger matches to come this season as well
clitheroe_claret Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Great draw. As rovertime says on the Claretsmad website, great draw for east lancs. Don`t be too confident. Everythings on a much more even playing field than before now jacks dosh isn`t so plentiful. Another 1-0 to the Super Clarets
Flopsy Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Very pleased with the draw - though of course will be less pleased if the last score line is repeated. Guarenteed 12 kick off and all leave cancelled for Lancashire Police dont you mean Yorkshire Police . This might mean we get more than 47.5 seconds on MOTD - possibly a whole 90seconds. I really hope we can have a good game - but I doubt it
CAPT KAYOS Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 actuallywe don't have to give 25% - that rule has some leeway based upon safety and segregation You will get the cricketfield stand (circa 4500). As per others - reckon BBC might opt for this one for its Sunday lunchtime slot Come on Hughsey don't feck this one up - you've only just got here
SharrockDownSouth Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 (edited) *dodgy memory* Was Hughes in the Rovers squad during our promotion season? (when we won 7-0..) edit: Like minds eh Floppy.. Edited January 31, 2005 by SharrockDownSouth
LDRover Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Hang on a minute...although this is a great draw for both sets of fans , spare a thought for the bloke who owns the pet shop in Burnley. He's only just getting back on his feet after being looted last time.
