broadsword Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 I like it when Mark Hughes stands up for the club - He's no moron, that's for sure. "Comments attributed to Nigel Worthington". Good semantics.
roversmum Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Who is this 'experienced' referee ? Steve Dunn. Wasn't he the ref at our last encounter?
Duff's Minder Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 if savage plays then I think we will hand out our one and only spanking of the season 4-0 Savage, Dickov, Stead (2) you saw it here first!
vyeo Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Who is this 'experienced' referee ? Steve Dunn. Wasn't he the ref at our last encounter? wasnt he the only person not to see molenaar's two handed shove on dahlin in the 4-3 loss?
Mr Brightside Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 I have to admit that im already feeling the butterflies about this game. Im making the trip up north from the Cheese Rolling capital of the world that is Gloucester and am already bricking it. This is definately a game that could change the course of the season. A win will see us soar away from the bottom 3, but a loss ( Please God No! ) will see us dragged back down into the mire. We have to go out all guns blazing against the canaries, give Delia what for! COME ON ROVERS!!!!!!
SuperStella Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 All the way from Gloucester? chees-us christ!
modes98 Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 give Delia what for! Is that there new centre forward?
James No. 7 Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 For those in Melbourne and Adelaide, Australia: SEN1116 and SEN1223 will have the Rovers/Norwich match live. Premiership Live will be broadcast, so tune in.
USABlue Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 We want to win this one but not too well and not too easily. When we win at a canter we always have a let down in the next game, and we all know who that is.

Bobby G Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Im gonna be watching the game with a 2 hour delay, basically as soon as its over, its on TV here in Dubai, and its my birthday tomorrow,so Im hoping for a present.3 or 4 goals for our strikers would do me.

I stopped listening 2 - 0 in. And yes, the match is on at 2AM, straight after Everton's match.

rastan Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 WHy on earth has Huges dropped nissa and plays matteo?? matteo is ordinary and nissagives his all, looks soo committed all the time??? so annoying and bring in tugay and pray he has a good game goood luck - lets do this!!!
BRFC4EVA Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 I think we will win this game by the odd goal. Remember, for all our attacking short comings, Norwich havent won a game away from home this whole season. Whats more, their defensive record on the road is absolutly appalling so if we play 4-4-2 im hopeful we can score a couple. 2-1 to the Rovers but i dont wanna say who the goals are from I expect a pretty good crowd actually, norwich will bring quite a few, its catergory b prices, its a 3pm sat kick off and the dingle game might have encouraged a few more to buy tickets. 25k ish?
mhead Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 " John - i want you to play the next 5 games and make the place your own and forget about the season so far...as far as I'm concerned for you it starts today" Overheard Hughesy to Stead 2pm today. Come on lets warm up for next week and thanks to everyone making a special effort to be there today( and NO Thanks to anyone making a lame excuse and missing todays vital match) With 28 points and April's fixtures we can concentrate on the Cup.
cn_barlow Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 if we play 4-4-2 and go at them then i think it'll be a stroll.....3-0 with stead bagging his first of many this season. However if we play 4-5-1 then i think we'll lose!!
herbergeehh Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Where did you hear this mhead? Not pulling our leg are you?
modes98 Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 (edited) At least we have galli and dickov up front today! Very dissapointed not to see stead on the bench. Solid looking defense of 4 centre backs!!! Attacking looking midfield. Looks like we are going for it after 2 lack luster 4-5-1 games at last a 4-4-2 Team: Brad, Nelson, Moko, Todd, Nissa, Emmo, Sav, Tugs, MGP, Dickov, Galli Bench: Enks, Thommo, Lucas, Reid, Johnson Edited February 12, 2005 by modes98
