My thoughts at present are if we get to the final, then those who went to the semi, should get first option on final tickets.

Yep, that's what I was saying. Or perhaps that if we only got 17,500 tickets for the final (which is the rumour) that ONLY those who'd gone to the semi (or had gone to the previous rounds) would get tickets. Those "saving themselves" for the final should take a long walk off a short pier.

(Again- if someone was making a once in a lifetime trip from outer Mongolia to the final, maybe we should try to encourage them)

Seriously though as a Claret I would guarantee us selling 30,000 not a problem BUT the difference being that it would be our cup final.

If, as we so nearly did wink.gif get in the semi, would have been seriously tempted to give them 2 fingers, stay at home and watch it on the box and save my brass for the final ahem!

Make your mind up, which one is it?!

I've now been informed that there are a sizeable number waiting to be processed, so it is probably correct to assume that the 8000 figure is nearer the mark

Only 8000 eh ?

Maybe someone can explain to me why concession tickets are now only on sale at the £45 level and then only at row 7 on the Lower Tier of the North Stand .

What the hell happened to the £25 and £35 concessionary tickets ? Were they only ever for Rows 6 and below ? Or did they ever exist at all ? Does anyone on this m/board possess these treasured items ?

Maybe I'm being a little cynical but I've the funny feeling someone is taking the pi$$ down at the Rovers . 8000 tickets sold and yet someone like me with 8 season tickets in my hand am being offered row 7 of the lower tier ! Needless to say the offer was not accepted . A pity the accommodation is already booked ....

Rovers a family club ? Do me a favour ..... mad.gifmad.gif

Looking at the leaflet, there didn't seem to be that many cheap tickets available to start with.

Given the level of whingeing about price on here (and since we're the ones WITH internet access............) I think it's safe to assume that they would have been the first to go.

Obviously, concessions WOULD have been available if demanded, but if they could sell all of them at full price (which they probably could) then maybe there weren't any concessions sold(no law says there has to be- only an option).

So if you'd wanted them- given both the facts above (demand + availability) I'd probably have phoned up on day 1, not day 5

If the £45 tickets are on row7 of the Lower tier, Jan , then it's safe to assume that there weren't that bloody many to begin with ! Why didn't the robbing bast£rds have the balls to announce how many in the first place ?

The Rovers should be encouraging kids to go , not positively turn the parents against the club . I could understand if we were in the position of possibly selling out but that's not the case is it ? No fleurkin wonder when they pull stunts like this .

Can anyone give me an email address at the club were I can complain to ?

LOOK at the leaflet. It's patently obvious that there were VERY few cheap seats. Also obvious where the concessions were (ie family enclosure where there would be a maximum of about 5 or 6 rows back and very few seats across cheap and LOTS in the blue price range).

The seat prices are governed by the price the Millenium stadium (and the FA) charges us for the seats. We don't make them up. If, in the stadium's view there are only a few seats with a view so bad you'd charge low prices for, that's not our club's fault. Do you seriously expect the club to lose £10 or £20 a ticket just so that you can get cheap concessions in an expensive area???

I wonder where the replay would be played, should there be the need for one.

Assuming we are still level after Extra Time and Penalties, we will keep taking penalties till somebody misses.

Does that mean the TV coverage will disappear if they are still taking penalties at 3.00pm? huh.gif

What it says , Jan , is that there are "very" few seats - so why not tell us all exactly how many and save us all this bullshi1t about guessing and working out whether we should be queueing at dawn on day one ?

The rest - blue bit on the map , clearly marked "family enclosure" - extends right halfway up the stadium - the WHOLE of the lower tier ! (Confusing , and deliberately so IMO). Now that doesn't signify to me that now , on day 5 , all that is now available is on row 7 ! Presumably everything above row 7 is NOT available to concession tickets . So why not say so ?

It jsut seems unfair to me to expect kids to pay full price to get a decent view of the game , especially when the ground's going to be half empty .

Still , that last point gives me a bit of hope - we might simply be able to move higher up into the mass of empty seats behind us and get a decent view . Here's hoping for a bad turnout !! Why am I not surprised that everyone will be in the pub watching ?

withstupid.gif What the hell are you prattling on about now? How can you fail to understand the simple information that the club have provided us with? The WHOLE of the family enclosure is available at concessionary prices. (I have already purchased several concessionary tickets in the Blue zone, well above row 7).

If that's the case , then thanks for enlightening me Spark - albeit in your own usual charmless and ignorant manner .

If you had read my earlier posts you my have surmised that this information was given to me directly from the ticket office - ie , that only Row 7 was now available for concessions at £45.

Naturally I found this hard to believe as it indicates that the rest of the stand is full !!

May I ask how much you paid ? (If you can't be polite don't bother replying )
