greggyk Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 how!! parker + emre = 2 = a couple! 340253 you can count? Well then, one injured midfieder makes only 1 extra midfielder and one injured striker makes only 1 extra striker So its pretty similar ay?
American Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 To be fair, I'd rather have Parker as my extra than Kuqi.
brfcshabba Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 how!! parker + emre = 2 = a couple! 340253 and Mr Lee Clark. Lot of booing and jeering at the full time whistle. Why was that?
adopted scouser Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 (edited) and Mr Lee Clark. Lot of booing and jeering at the full time whistle. Why was that? 340410 Because the mighty toon couldn't even get one over on ten men West Ham. Edited August 20, 2005 by adopted scouser
MCMC1875 Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 Souey and Freddie getting plenty of flak on 606.
sumps Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 On Sky Sports Souness was asked whether they were unlucky today and probably for the first time ever he said he didn't think they were unlucky!
Bobby G Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 Souness of brink of being sacked according to todays Sunday Mirror! Damn it. Wanted him back at Ewood on the 18th.
1864roverite Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 think he might just last until then with manure next up for toon then the England matches Rovers away cant come quick enough for him. He might just think that his old stoming ground may help him, trouble is it will, Rovers 2 -0 winners
waggy Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 read in a paper sourpuss only wanted top quality players,if he was sacked he did not want to burden the next manager with poor players, tell that to sparky
Kennysuperbuyer Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 Hoping they dont sack the idiot yet. Let him loose with the toon cheque book first so he can sign plenty on long contracts. That should leave a nice problem for Shearer to sort out when he takes over. Come on Souey splash the cash!
Ronin Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 read in a paper sourpuss only wanted top quality players,if he was sacked he did not want to burden the next manager with poor players, tell that to sparky Saying that, it sounds as if he's expecting to get the sack
Presty On Tour Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 souness will be fired when he loses at ewood park!! if he lasts that long that is
OscarRaven Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 (edited) EDIT Unacceptable bad taste. Edited August 22, 2005 by den
MIROVER Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 (edited) 340965 Oscar not really in good taste that post not humerous at all !!!!! Edited August 22, 2005 by den
Grabbi Graeme Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 More disappointment for Souey as Newcastle have given up the chase for Albert Luque after Depotivo rejected their final offer.
leffe186 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Saying that, it sounds as if he's expecting to get the sack 340777 He was only ever meant as a stopgap before Shearer.
OscarRaven Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 (edited) EDIT Unacceptable bad taste. 340965 That's ridiculous the man has a heart condition, is in a high pressure job, at a high pressure time. With Souness and Fredie steadfast this pressure will only increase. I didn't wish the man dead I merley sighted it as another possibilty. Just as when he was appointed Blackburn manager it was sighted on many occasions as to wether his health was up to it. Short memories. No doubt will incur a second edit. So much for free speech. Ronin Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 He was only ever meant as a stopgap before Shearer. Has Shearer got his UEFA Coaching badges already then?
sausagemandog Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I cant understand why the Geordies would want to sack him, in my opinion he has done a great job long may he continue. I cant really understand why Shearer would want the job, if you want to start in the managemant game surely its better to start at places where you are allowed a few mistakes, rather than at a club like the barcodes. Their hordes demand instant success, they would only turn on Shearer if they had a poor couple of seasons. Cant recall the last time Newcastle had a good season, for some reason their fans think they have a divine right to a CL spot every season, perhaps they should think that considering the amount of money they have spent over the years.
Seggie Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 just been on that classy toon website from the picture posted above and threads include Taking a Dump at Work Best Salad Vegtable Dogging And on the footballing side A petittion to sign that Deportivo player - Fat Freddie be aware And lots of Love for Mr Souness And one poster has a lovely Avatar of that Ref that sent Jenas off Damn I need to get out more
The1mattjansen Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I wish someone would end these pathetic topics on ex-players and managers. What is it that makes someone such a bad person for leaving the club? There was 10 board members MAXIMUM that were wishing Souness out before he actually left. He moved to a much bigger club, with more resources, fans and a better wage! There is clearly no loyalty at all in the game as it stands, so why do people get kicks out of him failing? And how many of them who do, actually attend ewood on a saturday?

On a par with poor old Blackburn Rovers In addition to Saturdays I also go to Ewood on Wednesday's, Tuesday's, Mondays and Sundays rarely Thursdays and Fridays though.
