Flowers has confirmed he will be there and said that a few more big names are expected as "we all know who I speak to". A shearer return me thinks..

I have to suspect that Sutty won't be there as there's the little matter of an SPL title and a Scottish cup still going on then!

Posted

I don't know...the quality will be higher in this match so who knows which one he'll pick...*prepares himself for insults*

Posted

Lets see- plays in games where he will get into Europe (twice over- actually- Champions League) or plays where the person he hates most in the footballing world will be??? Let me see- BIG choice.

Would be funny if he did come and brought Mr Bellamy with him. I'm sure that would be a confrontation to behold!!!

Shearers best mate away from him

Is that accurate- or should we include the word wife somewhere?

Anyway- it's totally mutual. Sutty isn't even polite about Shearer if you speak to him.

If Tony's team is a Rovers Past, will Revidge be sat with fingers crossed from now until kick-off that Flitty is in that team? rolleyes.gif

FLOWERS BACK AT EWOOD

Tim Flowers will be playing in the testimonial and was quoted in that article linked above as saying ""I'm on the phone regularly to a certain member of the championship winning side, and they are coming too, but I won't say who!".

Hmmm... dry.gif You big tease Timothy...

Alan Shearer in a Rovers shirt one last time.......CANT DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I WANT IT TO HAPPEN!!

Back of the LET should make you happy.

Shearer confirms he will play.

In fact he is delaying a trip to Portugal in order to turn up.

Good man!

Would be surprised if Hendry didn't play, also Wilcox is probably quite likely as is Atkins.

I thought Wilcox was out with a cruciate knee ligament injury at the moment.

I seem to remember that in one testimonial-Noel Brotherston's?-some of the stupid fans in the Blackburn end booed Jimmy Quinn. I hope Alan Shearer gets a huge welcome back.
