Where Will We Be In 10 Yrs Time?

it's get out your crystal balls time...think ahead to 2005..where will we be...will we still be at the top?, or perhaps relegated? how about champions of europe. and will alan shearer be still palying?

I think we will probably be part of a European "Super" League set up

It will have all the richest and successful clubs in it

From England it will be probably Rovers, Liverpool, Man Utd and possibly Wolves

Shearer will still be with us, probably as player manager

I predict us to have sunk into lower-table mediocrity and have a South African called Aaron Mokoena, who signs autographs on calves with his studs, playing in midfield.

I don't know why I feel this but I do.

I reckon we'll have a bunch of Aussies playing for us... as Robbie Slater has showed how well they can adapt to the English game.

Of course by then Australia will be a world footballing powerhouse so I'm sure these players will have loads of World Cup experience as well.

The core of our team is still english and I believe it will remain so.

Sherwood, Batty, Shearer, Atkins, Le Saux, Sutton, Newell, Ripley, Wilcox are all english.

Could you imagine a team with australian, swedish, new zealand defenders, south african, welsh, turkish, norwegian midfielders and scottish strikers?! May as well change our name to Blackburn United Nations if ever we get there!!
