Short And Nissa To Leave Rovers.

Rovers have announced that defenders Craig Short and Nils-Eric Johansson are to leave the club.

Both players are out of contract this summer and it appears with Todd & Nelsen now first choice centre half pairings, Hughes has decided that Short & Johansson are surplus to requirements.

This decision means that Short's last league game in a Rovers shirt was against Fulham when he was sent off for pushing Boa Morte.

He made 134 league appearances for Rovers, scoring four goals.
