Aussie_Rover Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 bets an Warne hitting a ton? 337203 200-1
Flopsy Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Ricky Ponting must be slightly to blame for that decision to put England in to bat
Flopsy Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 And Burnley lost muhahahaha 2.5 out of 3 for us - coz even though weve got the extra half hour i can see Warne sticking around
Shaddy Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Ricky Ponting must be slightly to blame for that decision to put England in to bat 337205 I am extremely ###### off with Ponting. He's a poor captain.
Aussie_Rover Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 I am extremely ###### off with Ponting. He's a poor captain. 337209 Ponting, Hayden & Martyn must take blame & maybe its time for Hodge to replace Hatden or martyn.
Flopsy Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 im still gobsmacked that Symonds hasnt got a run out - Austrailia would be better with an allrounder than the extra batsman
brfcshabba Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 (edited) Superb ball by Harmison. Two to get Edited August 6, 2005 by Cookiemonster
Biddy Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Well, I hope the fourth day is free for the punters. Can't see it lasting too long tomorrow.
brfcshabba Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 If its less than 10 overs i think they get a full refund below 20 its half. I maybe wrong on the number of overs but i think thats the case
Rovers_4_life Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Aussies lose one game and they immedietly turn on their skipper!
Timmy Posted August 6, 2005 Author Posted August 6, 2005 oh yesssssssssssssssssss!!!! throught we threw it away there of a minute great final slower ball by harmy
Scotty Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Absolutely marvellous stuff. And what a performance by Freddie. He's carrying an injury but still managed to be the best batter and bowler. Finish them off early tomorrow England and then we can move on to Manchester with all the momentum. Can't wait.
grizfoot Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Brilliant performance by England. Thank god we have Freddie Flintoff
Rovers_4_life Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Ye brilliant end to the what was a fantastic bowling performance! A pretty good whole day really part from the battin collapse this mornin, gud to see the high middle order pull it round....again.
grizfoot Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 We just need Harmison to break Warne's fingers tommorrow at the series will be sorted.
Timmy Posted August 6, 2005 Author Posted August 6, 2005 having seen the replay loads of times I would love to know how the umpire could have possibly given Pietersen out sweeping from 22 yards, when it hit about 5 parts of his body expect the bit the matters. saying that I think he could have been out gloving 1st ball to Gilchrist. so as so often in sport these things even them selves out.
Manchester Blue Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 im still gobsmacked that Symonds hasnt got a run out - Austrailia would be better with an allrounder than the extra batsman 337213 As a Lancs fan i'm delighted he isn't in the squad. However after two tests i'm amazed he isn't in ahead of Katich.
modes98 Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 think we'll lose the first test! but claw the second back and it'll be nip and tuck from there in! 333893 Sorry to quote myself but it's the first prediction i've got right in a while So it's nip and tuck from here! (assuming we wrap up the 2 aussie wickets) Good to see us have some momentum going into old trafford! Who knows if we go 2-1 up we may end up nicking one of the tests when glenn is back and the ashes can stay where they belong!
Blueboy Downunder Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 an excellent day of cricket to see our lancashire lad kicking ass with bat and ball. showed some fight to get back into the test series so hopefully we can get it over and done this morning in pretty fashion so the lads get an extra day off.
cn_barlow Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 (edited) we havent won it yet people so maybe we shouldn't make such assumptions....this is England after all! On the peitersen issue.....how many times in the first test was Warne denied a wicket through poor umpires decisions...i think he was due a bit of luck! Edited August 7, 2005 by cn_barlow
brfcshabba Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 we havent won it yet people so maybe we shouldn't make such assumptions....this is England after all! 337281 I agree, only 62 needed now
