brfcshabba Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Could do with early wickets to get rid of the openers
Cheshireblue Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Just call me psychic. I think there may well be another. Jones is all over them.
Shaddy Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 As soon as Hayden went, I knew this was going to happen. Hayden's poor form is a *very* large part of why the top order is failing. He deserves to be dropped.
Billy Castell Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Can any Australians enlighten us with any names to look out for when Ponting/Warne/Gilchrist and the other 30+ guys retire ?. At the moment the only names I know are Clarke and Tait.
brfcshabba Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Just call me psychic. I think there may well be another. Jones is all over them. 342063 Oi Pyskick! Langers gone Keep it up!
Ste B Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Nearly another on there, Bell just couldnt make it stick, but Hoggard is bowling a cracking spell here.
Billy Castell Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 60-4 now according to the BBC. We're shredding them to pieces, and they have no Gillespie to provide stubborn resistance.
brfcshabba Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 (edited) 99-5 Gilchrist in - never thought i'd ever be saying that End Of Play - lets build on that tomorrow. Edited August 26, 2005 by Cookiemonster
Ste B Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Clarke gone... can this get ANY better today 342081 Er no.. last ball of day
Timmy Posted August 26, 2005 Author Posted August 26, 2005 heard Rod Marsh speaking on radio after today's play saying that he hoped Australia would put up a fight tomorrow to prolong the game and give the crowd some entertainment! says it all really
Timmy Posted August 26, 2005 Author Posted August 26, 2005 Weather forecast good for tomorrow 342084 and for the rest of the test
Rovers_4_life Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 As soon as Hayden went, I knew this was going to happen. Hayden's poor form is a *very* large part of why the top order is failing. He deserves to be dropped. 342065 Hows it haydens fault that the rest of the top order is failing?
brfcshabba Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Which Rod Marsh? The talkSport numpty or the Ex England selector?
SouthAussieRover Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 I just don't believe it Surely England will force the follow on more so from a psychological point of view.
neekoy Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 This is getting ridiculous, we have three umpire decsions that could possibly affect not only this match but now the entire series First ball after lunch Jones is gone caught behind. England are then six down and we are into the tail end but instead they go on to make another 100 runs. Ponting and Martyn are given LBW for big inside edges and now we are on the ropes. England are playing better but Australia must have smashed a mirror over a chinamans head before coming on tour
Ste B Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 This is getting ridiculous, we have three umpire decsions that could possibly affect not only this match but now the entire series Where do you get the green tinted specs from ?? I would concede that Martyn was robbed, but aslo suggest that the umpiring decisions have evened themselves out over this series. (Pietersen/Bell @ Edgbaston, Bell @ OT) Fact is, this is one of the most keenly contested series in a long while, and both teams are playing competitive on the field, and also enjoying themselves once the days play is over. For a fan its been amazing from the first session of Lords to the last at Trent Bridge, and we still have 8 out of 25 days left.
Tris Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 This is getting ridiculous, we have three umpire decsions that could possibly affect not only this match but now the entire series 342145 Oh diddums. Cricket watchers the world over are praising the standard of umpiring in this series, and rightly so. But the resident convicts can only scrape around for excuses and this is the best you can do??!! I know nowt about rugby but apparently you're getting stuffed in that as well just now - has Billy Bowden popped down to umpire some tri-nations??? Wise up and smell the kanga sh:te loser.
