Ryan Nelsen has signed a new three-year contract with the Rovers that will keep him at the club until the Summer of 2008.

The 27-year-old New Zealand captain who joined Rovers during the January transfer window, from the USA Soccer team DC United, will however be required to get a full work permit, which the club hope will be a straightforward procedure.
