we brought this disscussion up around this time last year because i remember going wild when dickov robbed jansens number 10 shirt!!

i thought they were having a laugh!!

maybe he will get it back this year

with stead, johannson and short leaving, numbers are available.

i imagine with some new faces on their way, likley a striker, he will take the vacant number 9 shirt!!

anyone have any ideas when the the squad numbers are released?

i think lilly savage will probably want a different number but he wont take tugays number 8!!

Maybe it is- I just knew there was a number he liked being- and it isn't 9. So maybe Kuqi will be the new number 9. I'd like it to be given to Jansen.

EDIT: He is 77 at Porto, but was 17 at Ajax and I think thats his preffered number. Think he chose 77 at Porto, because 17 wasn't available.

Didnt really know where to put this, but a quick point (story aside). Todd is referred to as "Blackburn Rovers defender" as opposed to "Blackburn Rovers captain". Is Sparky planning a change for next season? Wouldn't be surprised if Sav was given the armband....
