Benni Holds Out For Rovers Move

Today the message board is full of discussion following news that, South Africa striker Benni McCarthy will refuse all other transfer offers for the remaining two years of his contract with Porto if the Portuguese side does not let him join Rovers this week.

His agent Rob Moore is reported to have told Portuguese daily 24 Horas.

"If this week there are no developments in relation to his transfer to Blackburn, that window of opportunity will permanently close,"

"If he is not transferred this summer, he will carry out until the end the two years which he has left on his contract with FC Porto."
