bellamy and souness again, the press love digging this sh!t up!!

The press didn't- if you listened to the interview- Bellamy did. He obviously still smarts that people actually believed Souness and Shearer above him. (I didn't and still don't) I loved the interview when I heard it on Saturday. There was a real "clumsy, hit shift + 8 again!! you" quality to it which I liked. Oh- and he's absolutely spot on.

i see what your saying jan but the press love these outbursts and do hype it up.

one thing i dont think the press were expecting was when bellamy came in from his warm down on saturday was we should have got (Please don't use that word again)k all with our ###### defending!!!!!

something along those lines anyway blink.gif

Nothing wrong with Bellamy's "outburst" and I wish more footballers were so honest.

Besides it was funny and true, both the bit about the defending and his pop at Souness. tongue.gif

Unfortunately the man well-blessed in the nose department, Ian Rush, seems to be trying to talk up a Liverpool move for Bellamy in the summer here...

Does anyone know where that Bellamy interview is? I could swear he said there is no minimum fee release clause or anything like that. Yet the Daily Mail say Boro are interested after learning of a 6 million escape clause. huh.gif

Here it was...

Got it.

Responding to questions about a release clause, Bellamy said: "I don't think I'd be allowed to come here if that was the case.

"The manager we have wouldn't allow that. I couldn't have mentioned that when we were negotiating, even if I'd wanted to, because he's not into that.

"I knew that if I was coming here then I had to give it a real go and make sure I was fully committed to being here, which is what I've tried to do.

"I'm not just here for a season and then I'm going to say thanks a lot'. I want to try and do as well as I can for Blackburn Rovers."

I believe this till the day he's signed for someone else - not necessarily because Bellamy says so, but because I don't think Sparky would've allowed such a silly clause.

What part of "I have haven't got a clause in my contract, Mark Hughes doesn't deal that way" do these journo's not understand. I could have sworn that Bellers has said that on numerous occassions.

I dont know why you guys get so worked up over it! We all know it's BS...not even a quote in the piece....or even mention of a source!

I wouldn't say i'm getting worked up over it, i'm just fed up of journo's making up utter BS that some fans believe. They'll be some thick Scouser now thinking his sides about to sign bellers.

If we have offerd him a new contract, then I hope he signs it. We need a star man in our team, so give him £60k a week, he's worth it imo.

I'm also curious how Spurs can activate the clause, since it was for Champions League teams (allegedly).

Spurs can do anything if the papers say so...

remember they are going to get into the Champs League when Arsenel are kicked out (according to the papers)...

The papers are Spurs, it wouldn't suprise me if the owners of Spurs own a couple of national papers, it would make sense as to how they get all of their money for transfers. lol

Arsenal won't get kicked out of the CL so Spuds won't be able to activate this so called "release clause".

Spurs are backed by that Joe Lewis character of ENIC who's worth 2 billion.

...and maybe they'll finally sign Ronaldo, who they were oh so close to signng a little while back.

As I've said before... Spuds have replaced the Big Club as my new most hated Premiership opponent.

bellamy was in oakwood last week which is a theme park about 10 miles from where i live.

i used to work there a while back and my mate who is the secretary there txt me and said that craig bellamy was there and she had a photo taken with him and a autograph.

she only txt me after the park had closed, so i was well gutted i missed him, i would of burnt up there and asked him face to face about a billion questions before probably being escorted out by security if i had known he was there

If spurs, Liverpool or whoever want bellamy then they best get their cheque books out! £20 million before we even consider ha ha!
