Drakefyre Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Djorkaeff does play for the Metrostars. He's had some good games and links up well with Amado Guevara.

Ozz Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 Of course the most successfull of all former players is without doubt Mark Atkins. He has enjoyed world wide success with a dietary plan which involves carbs, pies and cakes, or so I`m told. The only other major success for a player leaving Rovers is Chris Sutton, whose packet seed operation keeps on growing and growing. Erm, thats it.
JamieUK Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Been on SSN that Tim Sherwood's announced his retirement today.
brfcshabba Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 (edited) Not suprising after his injury problems. Sky Sports They say he won a league cup medal in 2001/2002. They seem to forget that they lost Edited July 29, 2005 by Cookiemonster

Radagast Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Is Callum Davidson still at Preston? Where is Hignett these days? Kaba Diawara? McAteer is at Tranmere ha ha ha.
Arcturus Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Hignett played for Darlington last season. Don't know if he's still there.
herbergeehh Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Why do you say sadly? Unless you are a Vålerenga fan? 335284 Spot on FC Lyn Oslo is a disease, and now Berg is spreading it. After his appearance as "expert commentator" for Norwegian TV2, his years in the blue/white is almost forgotten anyway. Terrible..
paddyk Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I think you mean plonker.. Other players: Henchoz, now at Wigan. Whatever happened to that Oumar Konde? Dino Baggio? Marcus Babbel? 335258 think she ment wanka
greggyk Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 (edited) Well well, Gary Croft has joined Grimsby today and is set to play against Rovers tonight! Croft for grimsby Edited August 2, 2005 by greggyk
The Doctor Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I always liked Gillespie. He did a better job than what Emerton is doing now.
cn_barlow Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I always liked Gillespie. He did a better job than what Emerton is doing now. 336225 lets snap him up then!
skiporovers Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I agree with ya Doctor....Super Keith was great and was never scared to take someone on, or keep runnin.......e.g Flitcrofts Goal against leeds 2002-03.....ian harte thot it was out so let it run ..........all of a sudden Gillespie gets it on the line, low cross into the area...GOAL........or the goal aganst Man Utd first home game since promotion and we beat them 2-1( yes i kno it was 2-2 but im Disregarding Beckhams equalizer as it was an absolute disgrace, and just cheating from the T W A T)
herbergeehh Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Sure, Gillespie did well on some occasions coming on. He can run, I'll give him that. And.. what else.. no, he can run.
andy82 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Well well, Gary Croft has joined Grimsby today and is set to play against Rovers tonight! Croft for grimsby 336216 He put the cross in for the Grimsby goal. Don't think many of the Rovers fans twigged who he was.
Lee Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 One fan asked Gary Croft where he had been since he left Grimsby back in 96. I replied loudly, "well he played for us" Then muttered under my breath, "then there was the spell at her majesty's pleasure"
rosie Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 My brother was about 12 when we bought Gary Croft and he got his name done properly on the back of his shirt. What a shame. Did he go to Ipswich and then get put away for persistent drink driving? On Gillespie, re: some of the posts above - he had the capability to be very good in the past but he blew it by being a prat - he was given so many chances, not just at Rovers that frankly he doesn't deserve to be being paid a decent salary anywhere. I used to defend him when he first started playing for us but his ability to cock things up was second to none in my opinion.
Alan75 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Keith Gillespie is to start training with Sheffield United after missing out on a move to Leeds. (The Sun)
Cheshireblue Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 What ever happened to David Dunn? Has he ever actually played for Birminum or is he just adding to Super Atko's pie industry profits?
MCMC1875 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 He's contemplating life as a house husband with his family. don't you read the Times?
