Eddie Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Well it was reported that he was out of the Wales game with an ankle injury so that would be a bit surprising. I certainly hope it isn't true.
Bobby G Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Oh f........ I hope its not true. But so typical of our luck and us putting all our eggs in one basket, a basket that however good has always been fragile.
Cocker Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I dont know if its any where else but I heard that Mokoena was hacked down in a disgusting manner by none other that Fulham's Heidur Helguson. Apparently he was laying screaming in agony and was removed from the pitch very quickly. Were dropping like flies.

thenodrog Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Oh f........ I hope its not true. But so typical of our luck and us putting all our eggs in one basket, a basket that however good has always been fragile. 339736 Exactly Bob.......... For Bellamy's money we could have kept Stead and still signed Akinbyi and Noel Gifton-Williams as well.
waggy Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 every big signing since the the jw era has had a bad injury, with or without bellamy we will have to battle, also it maybe a blessing in disguise as we still need a striker, and hughes may be able to get the board to give him some more cash
Bobby G Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 thenodrog, Didnt say that. I think Bellamy will turn out to be a good signing but Im just highlighting something. Anyways, although we got Bellamy at a good price, just look at some of the prices some players have moved for this summer to get a bigger picture and some of the great loan deals like Nakata.
thenodrog Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 thenodrog, some of the great loan deals like Nakata. 339751 'great'?
RoyRover Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Ah bo**ocks, that's all we need, our 'star' striker injury after a week of the season. I heard that it was his ankle that was the trouble and that is why he didn't play for Wales. Hopefully he will be alright for Saturday where we need a good performance and a win.

Bobby G Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Well its a loan so you arent paying much other than wages, which are usually shared with his old club. Getting a player of Nakata's reputation on loan at Bolton is a good bit of business. Dont argue just for arguments sake!
tchocky Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Never understood why they have to have a pointless friendly international date right at this point of the season. The Norway-Switzerland game last night sooo underlines my point. Was like watching paint dry, at best. And I only watched the last 30 mins.
waggy Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I thought your priority position was finding a replacement for Sav in midfield waggy? 339764 certianley is but i said we need a striker as well, whilst were at it a new centre back would be a welcome addition.i hope lily has a blinder v fulham and i eat humble pie,but i better not hold my breath.dickov and kuqi can go tomorow for me

bob fleming Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 kuqi can go tomorow for me 339773 Well at least you've given Kuqi a fair crack of the whip waggy. An entire 90 minutes.
rover6 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 It was the risk Hughes took by signing Bellers. He's quality but injury prone. Paul Gallagher will probably be pleased.
promoted2001 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 doesnt dickov have an automatic susspension for thinking he was taking part in a long jump competition last week? 339778 Looked more like triple jump to me. Hop, skip, crunch!
promoted2001 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 physioroom.com reports that Bellamy, Jansen and Nelson are out till 20th of August. Nelson is listed as "Very Doubtful" for our next match

bob fleming Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 out till 20th of August. 339786 Did they give an exact time? I'm hoping they'll be back before that match starts at 3.00.
promoted2001 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I wish they did but odds are they'll all be injured for the match
