SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 (edited) Kuqi up front on his own then?.....Its all good folks!!! Edited August 18, 2005 by SIMON GARNERS 194
RevidgeBlue Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Still don't understand how Bellamy can be struggling so badly with injuries after a close season off. What's he going to be like later on in the campaign after a gruelling series of fixtures?
SamDingle Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 This injury would only be a concern if your manager had decided to put all his eggs in one basket this summer and rather than strengthen a substandard squad, had gone out and blown his entire budget on one over-rated, 'everyone look at me', goofy halfwit. Thankfully Hughesy's far too clued up for that and thus you will be fine. No really, I think this could be better than the Brian Kidd year(s).
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Thanks for your interest Dingle......hows life on Claret sh1t st!!!
92er Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 The only reference in today's LET to any injury situation re Jansen/Nelsen/Bellamy is "There are fears tht the thigh strain which ruled him out of Wales' friendly with Slovenia could keep him out for a month although Rovers have yet to confirm the full extent of the damage."(Bellamy)

You lot have to rely on some doddery old barsteward turning up with his boots to complete your bench
Bobby G Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Is Dingle a nondescript ornament you hang on your xmas tree?
92er Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Welcome back Sam. It seems the fish are still biting.
joey_big_nose Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Well it looks like it will be Kuqi up front on his own and Gallagher available from the bench. Not too promising but this is the kind of think we are going to have to deal with if we are going to have a decent season. Also Hughes upset with Toshack Gallagher played for Scotland U21s two days ago. Im not sure how he played- anyone know?
Alan75 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Its no suprise now, why Derbyshire didnt play for the reserves Monday

As for dogging Bellamy clearly your tinted specs are sort of green in colour. Have fun chasing your Premiership dream, after all the gap is closing,or so I've heard.
ihtd Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 We really are going to miss him but if it means giving Matt Derbyshire a go, it could be a blessing in disguise if he turns out to be the next Wayne Rooney, whihc may be very unlikely but we do have to give the youth a go at some point to see if their up to the high standards of Premiership football.
John Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 If Hughes thinks Derbyshire is upto it put him in. Awful news, sums up my week well so far......
MCMC1875 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Very true Paul. Good point. And The Axe den - I'm sure Cocker said he got carried off on two stretchers the other night, that doesn't sound good. 339860 Two stretchers? Has he put a few pounds on over the Summer?
grizfoot Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 It's all Toshack's fault he probably had them doing some stupid training regime That's the only problem with Rovers having international they also get injured on duty
OscarRaven Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Isn't Derbyshire working off a Red Card? 339982 Yes suspended from all football until the completion of three first team games [Fa website].
tchocky Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Dang. Kuqi, Gally and Jemal should at least be available. I won't be shocked to see a 4-5-1 on saturday.
Presty On Tour Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Looks like Kuqi and Jansen then. 340082 i hope so. jansen hat-rick!!
bazza Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 and what about thommo. Last I heard he was seeing a specialist about his knee injury. 339858 He needs to see a specialist about getting a new chicken head fitted. Last I saw he was still running around without one.
krislu Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 I won't be shocked to see a 4-5-1 on saturday. 340081 Heres hoping, or else it's another west ham display waiting to happen..
greggyk Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Heres hoping, or else it's another west ham display waiting to happen.. 340096 exactly, i dont see the problem with playing this formation at all! It clearly works and as long as we are a winning team, the fans will come back!! Who cares if sky are ###### off that we may lose them viewers when we are on cause we're boring. Bring back the 4-5-1, with Savage holding and Tugay and Reid infront of him
MIROVER Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Craig Bellamy has been ruled out Wales' World Cup qualifier with England on 3 September because of a thigh injury. Bellamy has been named in the squad for the double-header with England and Poland, but manager John Toshack says the striker will not play in Cardiff. So he may be fit for the game against Bolton. Typical rovers luck shot our load on Bellamy now he's not match fit until at least begin of October. I am worried we need goals from some where. Go and get Benni while we have chance
