thenodrog Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 most stoke fans think gally is good enough for the prem http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=9...ytoid=533106388 368920 What would they know? Seriously I bet lots of us thought that the likes of Mekky and SG were good enough until JW took over got us up and we were able to take a good look at the likes of Sherwood, Tugay, Bellamy and Shearer etc.

Football is an enigma.

tchocky Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 John Douglas scored for Leeds in a 3-1 win against Coventry yesterday.
juggalo_rover Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Gallagher had a penalty saved as Stoke lost 1-0 to Leeds
todd_could_take_tyson Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 You must all remember gallacher is playing either right or left wing for stoke, and he's still scored 7 goals, and I think is the player with the most assists.
JAL Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 He also missed some chances against Burnley. 369588 Gallagher fails again.... in dingledome, its no good for Gally's Rovers career if he cant do the business against Burnley at his third attempt. Championship football looks like the only alternative for Paul Gallagher unless some of you want Rovers to play in the championship and have Gally back. All the lads on loan at the moment dont look like they can cut it at premiership level ....fingers crossed for the youth of tommorrow.
herbergeehh Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Yeah, since he didn't score against Burnley, he can't be good.
JAL Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Yeah, since he didn't score against Burnley, he can't be good. 369666 Hes certainly not good enough for me, in fact its highly unacceptable that he under performs against Burnley but can score against other weak championship sides.
Billy Castell Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 So we should sell him because he didn't score against Burnley ?. What utter rot. Xabi Alonso, Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen have not scored against Burnley, so should we not buy them in the very unlikely event they become available ?.
92er Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 No, but maybe his not scoring against Burnley and missing other chances in other games suggests his level is not premiership level.
philipl Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Another opening goal for Jon Douglas for Leeds. Perhaps Leeds will make the move permanent?
andy82 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Another opening goal for Jon Douglas for Leeds. Perhaps Leeds will make the move permanent? 370197 From the noises coming from down the road - not a chance. They are much more concerned with getting Miller in.
roversmum Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Another opening goal for Jon Douglas for Leeds. Perhaps Leeds will make the move permanent? 370197 I'm being taunted by a Leeds fan who says it took Leeds to make something of Jon Douglas Reply - "Well I always said he was a Championship level player................. and no, no way do I want him back at Rovers, you can keep him, ta very much"

Exiled_Rover Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 ....If they stump up some cash! 370429 ....if they take him off the wage bill
philipl Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Keith Barker scored in a friendly for Cercle last night.
rover6 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 As mentioned in the transfer rumour thread, Andy Taylor's gone on loan to QPR. the details from the official site
herbergeehh Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Will be interesting to see how he plays, if he's to challenge for the 16 next season- he should play well for QPR.
philipl Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Of our cup-tied loanees, Douglas is in the Leeds team against Wigan tonight and Gallagher has hit the bar and missed a sitter for Stoke who trail Tamworth.
Flopsy Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 gally's just scored the equaliser against Tamworth
