Tris Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Or, just click here and read the Argyle fans' perspective of Derbyshire. 346879 "He makes intellectual passes"
RoverinBath Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 "He makes intellectual passes" 346910 He does, he passes and muses about the hyperthetical theses of Kant acting upon the ball, then does lectures and seminars to tell others of his theories.
RoverinBath Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 In fairness a 20 second scan of the topics would've been sufficient 346883 Time is money, and I haven't got any, so can't afford 20 seconds. See, logic... that's the kind of thing Derbyshire thinks about when he's making intellectual passes.

I use other forums and as you go down the page its really annoying to read the same things over and over again and nothing ever gets done about it. The mods here are class for merging topics that dont need 5 threads As I say, I am not having a go - just wanted to point that out before anything turns nasty
RoverinBath Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 No worries, I was just in a bad mood because I'd just seen the bookies list of favourites to get the Argyle job. John Bleddy Gregory!!! ARGH! Oh well, Rovers on the telly at the weekend brings out a smile. so, er. sorry 'bout that.
thenodrog Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 "He makes intellectual passes" 346910 He'll soon have any similarities to Premier League footy knocked out of him.

johnny boy Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 Plymouth play Burnley at home on Saturday, won't it be great if Derbyshire scores the winner against the dingles!
philipl Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 In comparison with Souness saving Stan Ternent's hide by lending him McEvely and Todd, Mark Hughes has a much healthier attitude to the Yorshire banana eaters. We can look forwards to: 17 Sept Dingles v Derbyshire's Argyle 27 Sept Dingles v Jay's Tractor Boys 15 Oct the Yorkshire derby with Jon Douglas at the Turd 22 Nov the Yorkshire derby back at Elland Road Boxing Day Dingles v Gally (Stoke) Mike Newell will be doing his bit at Kenilwoth Road on Bonfire Night and will mark the Dingles' relegation at t'Turd on the last day of the season.

RevidgeBlue Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 At least one Rovers striker can still remember where the net is.
waggy Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 and i had a tenner on him for the 1st goal, unfortunatley we will not see gally playing for us again

RoyRover Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 It was great to see Gallagher scoring again last night. That is why he went out on loan, to play regular football, in a competitive league and score goals. This will improve his game and when he comes back from his loan spell, he could be ready to play regularly for the first team.
Flopsy Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 and i had a tenner on him for the 1st goal, unfortunatley we will not see gally playing for us again 347495 why not?
herbergeehh Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 (edited) I think Gally's been loaned out this season as one of his last chances, tbh. But he will get a look-in next season, or maybe even from January if we struggle. Remember, this is his first ever season with week in, week out football at senior level. EDIT: Oh, and Matty Derbyshire played 70 mins for Plymouth, before being subbed. Plymouth beat the Dingles 1-0. Jonathan Douglas played the entire game for Leeds, beating QPR 1-0 with ten men. Ipswich play tomorrow? Edited September 17, 2005 by herbergeehh
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Bumley now third bottom of the Championship....'YOUR HAVING A LAUGH! CHAMPIONSHIP,YOUR HAVING A LAUGH!!'
cletus Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Fife Rover asked.... Just asking purely out of interest, but has some kind person dug-up the whole of Burnley and transplanted it into Yorkshire, or does the above only apply to Turf Moor? Bumley is a very small town/village situated just on the Lancashire side of the Lancs/Yorks border. The occupants of this very small town/village are very odd folk called 'Dingles'.Where-as the town itself is in Lancashire, the townsfolk have Yorkshire accents & therefore are classed as such. The people of Bumley want to be known as 'Lancastrians, but the rest of Lancashire doesn`t class them as such....& come to think of it, Yorkshire doesn`t want them either!!
waggy Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 why not? 347522 apparentley hughes does not rate gally and he is offski
Flopsy Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 well hes got a good chance of disproving Hughes hasnt he - or will he be shunned like souness did to other players Going on loan might well be the best thing that happens professionally for Gally.
rover6 Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Cercle lose 3-0 to Standard. Jones had a bad game and has also confirmed that he wants to return to England, probably at the end of this year, to try and earn a new contract.
