Met Jason Wilcox at Brockhall one morning whilst watching the junior sides play.

Met John Filan getting on the bus away to Chelsea after his fantastic penalty save.

Got interviewed on Radio Rovers in the studio as well.

Oh.. and I've met Lee Grooby laugh.gif

Sorry, I can't let this one go... sure there was some bad luck involved, but Jansen made a gross misjudgement. It should never be glossed over. Matty was never though of as an "unlucky" player, until that episode.

I have forgiven him, but I have to say, the level of sympathy Jansen has got over the last few seasons, when other players who may have had spells of injury and loss of form have been absolutely slated over the same period, irks me a lot.

I'd say it was pretty unlucky to be in a road accident! Certainly I've never thought of as those who find themselves in a coma as lucky! blink.gif

However...I wasn't referring to that at all. The "unluckiness" I mentioned was being called up to the England squad, getting injured/ill and then not getting back near the England squad again.

How's about "Kebab" ?

I once gave Lee Grooby a lift up Jack Walker Way. He was quite obnoxious and refused to sign any autographs.
