roversmum Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 (edited) Waggy, which one is you? And who`s the hunchback in themiddle? 349043 Well the bloke on the left is Oliver Hardy. And don't know about the one in the middle, must be a stand-in for Stan Laurel Edited September 24, 2005 by roversmum

Ozz Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Looks like an attacking team to me! My £5 is safe with Sparky
ihateburnley Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Woah hold on a minute! I put £2 on Bellamy to score first and Rovers to win 1-0 and I only got odds of 80-1! Put a quid on Emerton to score first so judging by the lineup, that was a waste! Looks like a cracking lineup, and seems like Sparky is willing to have a good go at his old club! However, I'm not convinced this is the right decision - it's probably one of the only games I would advocate the 4-5-1 formation! Still, I firmly believe it's down to the players, and NOT what system Hughes decides to play them in. P.S. Does anybody know who is on the bench?
Uxbridge rover Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 4 - 4 - 2 ????????????????? what ever next
greggyk Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Oh well, lets just see what happens. I was expecting 4-5-1, but maybe thats what Man Yoo were expecting aswell. Maybe we can get em a bit confused. Anyway, im changing my prediction from 1-0 Rovers......to 3-0 Rovers!!!!!! GED INTO EM!!!
Exiled_Rover Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 We're going to get spanked playing that formation, you can't 'have a go' against a team that can play football 10 times better than you and expect to get anything. T'Axe should have been protecting the back four in my opinion, especially considering the formation they play. Hopefully I'm wrong
stuwilky Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Subs: Enckelman, Emerton, Kuqi, Reid, Mokoena.
James No. 7 Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 (edited) 1-0 to Rovers. Bellamy to continue his sublime form. The 4-4-2 for a match like this can make some sense if you look at United's defence at the moment, with Neville and Heinze out. Would rather a 5-4-1 with Jansen playing as the lone striker (we need skill, not brute Kuqi force against United... he'll be knocking the ball all over the place and they'll just absorb that) with Bellamy playing a supporting/winger role. pick32 Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 im suprised by that we are going to try to beat united away good luck hughes men you will need it.
DP Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Well the fans who've gone over to Old Trafford deserve a good sing song!! Morten Gamst Pederson tra la la la la la !!!!!!!
Welshrover1981 Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 MGP with the goal and Rovers winning 1-0 at half time. Plus 5 Live are saying Rovers are playing the better 'more attacking' football I must be dreaming!!! But hold on its half time. IF only football lasted 45 minutes. I think my Ass will be twitching until for another 45 minutes.

Hopefully I'm wrong 349088 Doing OK so far, 7 shots on target could be 2 or 3 up but for Van Der Sar. Ref is going to gift the game to United, I already don't like the double standards. United are allowed to hold down our players for every headed ball, arms on shoulders, both arms holding our players. Silvestre on Bellers was a deliberate knee. Pedersen gets called for a perfectly good sliding tackle. You watch a ref's decision will either change or gift the game to the Glazers.
Shevchenko Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Hmm...we put Reid on and go to 4-5-1 and they score. Interesting.
Backroom DE. Posted September 24, 2005 Backroom Posted September 24, 2005 It was coming. If it ends 1-1 I won't be disappointed.
Guest Kamy100 Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Brad could have done better with the United goal. United are now starting to turn the screw.
Rovermatt Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Oh well, I knew that was too good to be true.
krislu Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 (edited) Is Bellamy still on the pitch, heard he might be injured. 1-1 would be a very good result for us, but I won't be suprised if they score the winner in the end.. Edited September 24, 2005 by krislu
Darth Paul Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Gutted...had 1-0 and Pedersen at 220-1!
