Robbie Savage beat snooker’s world number 16, Ian McCulloch 3 – 2 in a pool challenge match, at BBC Lancashire's Open Centre, set up as a prelude to next week's Snooker Grand Prix at Preston.

Savage is quoted as saying " The win at Old Trafford was big but this is the greatest victory of my career." biggrin.gif
