AndyH16 Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 I'm going for 2-2 I can see it being one of those games we should be winning but end up being frustrated.
frosty Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 (edited) blue phil and flopsy agreeing on something? i'm obviously on the wrong forum. frosty Edited October 21, 2005 by frosty
Philly Rover ® Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 With classes and everything, I haven't posted on the board in quite a while... but there was no way I wouldn't be reading up on everything prior to this match. If Rovers manage to grab three points from this fixture, I'm not sure what would delight me more--Rovers being in the top half of hte table, or Brum staying in the drop zone. Hope Bellamy's fit, and perhaps Hughes will be brave enough to play Bentley in the Bergkamp role behind Bellers? It'd be great to see Bentley's passing pick apart the Big Club's defense, which has already leaked 13 goals so far this campaign. Up the Rovers on Saturday.
Rovers Air Force Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 no skint & cadet stuff ring me if you want to pop in on the way back we can do a swap with the West Wing stuff 354726 WILCO
ROVERS Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 no reason why rovers will lose this one................... expecting a high scoring game with Rovers winning 3 - 1 .......... emerton and bentley to show their worth also bellamy to grab a goal! sad to see dunn play against us........... never been happy seeing him go.
Alan75 Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 sad to see dunn play against us........... never been happy seeing him go. 354790 Maybe it's worth bring THIS From May 2004 up again, as a reminder that although he plays for Brum he's still a Roverite.
SAS Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 we need a win for this game, we have some tough games coming up, so 3 points would put us in the best way for the upcoming matches. 3-1 bellamy maybe
Exiled_Rover Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I'd like a win from this match, we could certainly use it. Not sure if we're going to get it though, all depends on if Bellers can last for more than 15 minutes and if Brad can stop his transformation into Calamity James, if only for 90 minutes
mattjansen Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 It seems that Dunn might be left out tomorrow. http://touchlinefootball.blogspot.com/2005...ingham-ace.html
philipl Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 (edited) Dunn lasted 56 minutes and Lazaridis the first half for Brum reserves on Tuesday. Neither Tiny Taylor nor Alex Bruce featured which either means they are injured or are being saved for Saturday. Kuqi's younger brother played as well. My guess is that Dunn will be a sub tomorrow but Bruce might be playing mind games and will start with him and replace him in the second half. It seems unlikely Dunny will get a full 90 minutes. greggyk Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 (edited) sky sports are reporting Dunn is doubful for the Rovers game as he has picked up a calf strain. and according to Brum fans, on local radio today they are saying Dunn is OUT for Saturday. good news! (sorry Dunny) Edited October 21, 2005 by greggyk
philipl Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 (edited) Smokescreen. Wouldn't trust anything coming out of that bunch of desparados. They still hate Rovers with a passion over the Savage affair and it will be the first time they will have to face Sav on the pitch. PS If Dunn is out, at least he can watch the match from the Blackburn End. Edited October 21, 2005 by philipl

1864roverite Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 The numper that is Lawro has predicted a poor game with a 1-1 draw and then has the temerity to state that he sees Everton getting a point off Chelski keep em coming, i'm here all week

den Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 "relegation battle"? That suggests there are two teams in the bottom three! The cheek.
philipl Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 "Relegation battle"? At least the Brummy Big Club seem to know their place now.
Mattyblue Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 'Larwo's' anti-roversism gets funnier by the week. How are Everton as likely to get a draw against a rampant Chelsea as we are against a struggling Brum. If I added up the points he predicts for us through a season, think we'd just about hit the 20 mark!
Ozz Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 (edited) More good news is that Mario Melchiot is out injured. I thought he was their best player last season at our place, big strong quick and really dangerous going forward. Pennant Vs Gray? Should be a busy boy our Mickey tomorrow lunchtime. 1864roverite Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 the Country's biggest club have sold just over 1000 tickets of the 1700 allocated and Rovers have allowed supporters to pay on the door should they wish. Brum have Dunn,Gray,Clemence and Melchiot definately missing lazaridis may have a fitness test butt and cunningham back from suspensions
SouthAussieRover Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Rovers 0 Brum 1 BRISA crew out in force Attendance 19,157.
