USABlue Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 "relegation battle"? That suggests there are two teams in the bottom three! The cheek. 354874[/snapback] When did they change that? I had no idea the whole bottom half of the Premiership got relegated this year.
Radagast Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 (edited) Relegation battle indeed. I guess the thought of looking up the table at us really irks them. I almost view Brum games as derby matches these days, I truely despise them. Come on Rovers. Edited October 21, 2005 by Radagast
Blueboy Downunder Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 this is a game that i am confident we can win...i think we was very unlucky to get nothing t anfield last week...but in saying that we must not take this for granted...3 points lads, come on!!!!
Oklahoma Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Great news (for me anyway) Rovers game will be live in local cable tv. First game of the season that I'll be able to watch.
Quack Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 2 - 0 to Rovers, Savage to score in the front of the Brum fans - let's keep Gold / Brady in the bottom three !
Ozz Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 When he played for Rovers, the most popular chant for DD was "Dunny for England!". At St Andrews they now chant "Dunny for Birmingham!". About the same chance I suppose. Poor old Dunny. He`s never been the same since Fab Ravinelli leathered him at Pride Park first game back in the prem. He then aggravated his knees when attempting his round house back-to-front flick as seen on Cockers old sig. Maybe he could do the draw again with Beamo at half time tomorrow?
Jim J Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 According to some bloke in the pub, Dunny will be playing tomorrow. Apparently, he had spoke to him today. He made a point of showing me his number on his mobile, tosser. Anyway, fair play to Rovers, the family deal is a great idea. I'm taking my 3 yr old to his first Rovers game tomorrow. £15 for us both, plus we get a free drink and hot dog each. 2-0, Bellamy x 2
Ozz Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 If you don`t won`t the hot dog I`ll have it. I`m row 21.
rog of the rovers Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 What colour kits will they be wearing tommorrow? Obviously Rovers will be in the traditional blue and white. Birmingham however have a blue home shirt and a white away shirt, obviously both these colours clash. May we see the black away kit tommorrow? Someone must be able to shed light on the matter

For us i believe its the yellow of last season and for them the red one that only sold about 500! But who knows, normally teams sort it out so the home team keeps the home strip on! From reports and my brummie mates dunn won't figure and julian gray is 50/50. For the first time also all 3 i have spoke to have admitted they expect us to win, don't know if that is good or bad
Exiled in Toronto Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Game on live here tomorrow - 8th one out of 10 this season. Rovers 4 (Bellamy2, MGP, Neil) Brum 1 (Latchford) 21,093
BRFC4EVA Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Looking foward to going to the game tmoz, despite the early wake up, coming from uni in Stoke on trent I think we will win this game and continue our good form! Rovers 2-0 B'ham Nelson and Bellamy 19,000
juggalo_rover Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 another live game over here in oz!!!!! going out with my baseball team for a few drinks i'll be glued to the tv screen 2-1 rovers kuqi and bellamy for us
James No. 7 Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 another live game over here in oz!!!!! Aye, it's live at 9:30 on the east coast. A 2-1 win for us will do me fine. Bellamy and Savage to score for us, and some Big Player will score for the Big Club.
waggy Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 i am feeling strangely confident about this little tussle, some off my hard earned pennies might be going to mr ladbroke rovers 1 v 1 brum attendance 21,432
ABBEY Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 0-0 at half time or whatever time i get after little uns footy match and then 5-0 after i arrive happy days
Bobby G Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Birmingham have a massive injury list, doesnt usually bode well, cause we are usually the team that breaks ducks for opposition teams or players. Im gonna watch it live on TV here too.
Ozz Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Amazingly kind words here from a decent pundit... Do they mean us?
philipl Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Yes- I took a double take when I read it as well! Shame about the prediction but its the real result that counts. Hopefully Brum are going into this match with the same humility Pandiany showed prior to the Brum derby: "Aston Villa are clearly an inferior team to us and we will clearly show that this weekend." Clearly! That said, Brum have been travelling well so far with only one defeat to date. Getting excited about this one- just about to get ready to go to the bar for the build-up.
krislu Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 (edited) Todays line up: ROVERS: Friedel, Neill, Khizanishvili, Nelsen, Gray, Bentley, Tugay, Savage, Pedersen, Dickov, Kuqi. Subs: Enckelman, Emerton, Bellamy, Reid, Todd. BIRMINGHAM: Maik Taylor, Tebily, Cunningham, Upson, Clapham, Pennant, Johnson, Butt, Lazaridis, Forssell, Heskey. Subs: Vaesen, Martin Taylor, Pandiani, Kilkenny, Jarosik. Good to see we have some firepower on the bench in Emerton and Bellamy. By the way, Bjarte and his girfriend (also a rover) are both on Canal+ here in Norway, watching on telly now... Edited October 22, 2005 by krislu
