Fife Rover Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 With Brum gone now, who do in the top flight do I dislike now??? 403488 Please could I nominate Chelski as No.1?
modes98 Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 I'm suprised Mr Bruce hasn't handed in his resignation this morning, maybe he is out with pennant getting p'd.
ihtd Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 He will have his work cut out to get them back in the Prem next season, as there will be a mass exodus in the summer. Can you really see someone like J.Pennant/E.Heskey/C.Sutton/M.Upson wanting to play at a cold stadium down in Plymouth on a Thursday night? I can't, they'll all be off by August to other clubs, leaving Brucey with not much in way of money for players and a mountain to climb. Isn't it a shame for it to happen to such a MASSIVE club...Not!!
Radagast Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 I've had that old Rainbow song 'Self Portrait' stuck in my head for a while now: Paint me your picture and hang it on the wall Colour it darkly, the lines must start to crawl Down, down, down Spin me around and around Draw me away to the night from the day Leave not a trace to be found Down, down Nothing is real but the way that I feel And I feel like going down, down, down, down Down, down, down, down, down Paint me a picture of eyes that never see With flashes of lightning that burn for only me Hey hey hey There's only the devil to pay I'm ready to go Pull me down from below Give me a place I can lay Hey hey Nothing is real but the way that I feel I feel like going down, down, down, down Down, down, down, down Hey hey Nothing is real but the way that I feel And I feel like going down Down, down Nothing is real but the way that I feel And I feel like going down, down, down, down Down, down, down, down Down, down, down, down Down Wonder why? Ah, good times.
yawnsie Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Just out of interest, have those publicity-shy porn barons spoken to the press yet? It's not like them to stay quiet for so long.
modes98 Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Just out of interest, have those publicity-shy porn barons spoken to the press yet? It's not like them to stay quiet for so long. 403831 You must be joking, for some reason they seem intent on saving bruce's job, maybe something to do with the big payoff! "we had 40% of our team injured" but you know big teams should be able to deal with small issues like that.
philipl Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Bruce's future to be discussed/decided in meetings on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday according to the BBC. Sounds like the pornboys stitched Bruce up rotten. He has a contract which means they would be able to enforce three years if he wished to move on but not if they want to move him on. Sounds like he gets virtually nothing if they fire him.
blue/white Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 One other thing we can deduce from Brum's departure: DJ & Tiny have finally found their level.
Rovermatt Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Good riddance quite frankly. Brum are a club with humility, class or any sense of respect. They can rot in the Championship for all I care.

colin Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Moral dilemma for you all: Next year, when The Dingles are at St Andrews & Brum are at Turf Moor, who will you want to lose?
Modi Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Moral dilemma for you all: Next year, when The Dingles are at St Andrews & Brum are at Turf Moor, who will you want to lose? 403877 Both, and it's quite possible. Big Club 1 - Dingles 0. The Football League then dock Big Club 3 points for fielding an ineligible player as Miss Monica, the delux inflatable doll didn't get international clearance in time. Dingles 1 - Big Club 0. The Football Legue then dock the Dingles 3 points for fielding an ineligible player as Peter Pigsnout was already registered to another club as his sisters-half-cousin-mother's-uncle-son.
1864roverite Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 For the women (and men) that are interested, David Sullivan and Mr Gold have released a low priced sexual aid in their latest magazine Its called The Shaft - an inexpensively assembled one dimensional unit that will $$$ the life out of you and one that gives the impression of a more expensive unit that is available in most good sex shops ! They initially thought of naming it The Bruce

philipl Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Roll up Roll up! End of season clearance. All millionaire footballers must go! So besides a certain Dunn deal, who do we fancy from that lot? No transfer fees required by the look of things.
Oakland Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 "Kenny Cunningham, Mario Melchiot, Jamie Clapham and Stan Lazaridis, all out of contract, appear set to leave, and Nicky Butt and Jiri Jarosik, on season-long loans, will return to Newcastle and Chelsea. Another certain departure is Chris Sutton, whose move from Celtic in January, at a cost of £1.2m in wages, proved an expensive mistake. Muzzy Izzet, David Dunn, Mikael Forssell and Emile Heskey have also failed to deliver and will be offloaded." Dunn, Melchiot, Izzet for me...(and Dunn pay-as-you-play-deal)
cn_barlow Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 For those of us who were pushing for a move for Sutton in the jan window...that article says he is on 45k a week!!! I for one am glad we stayed away from that!
Billy Castell Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Sullivan in public showing of soiled laundry shocker. Good lord, the pair of dildo floggers love making a public specticle. They can't help but blab in public. I'm glad JW is more professional. Anyway, Steve Bruce for England !. He may be unemployed soon, so no compensation.
American Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I've heard Melchiot is a big reason they got relegated...
Ricky Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I think the other article summed it up as £1.2 million since January. Sutton has managed one goal in that time... certainly a very costly bit of business.
Hughesy Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Wheres the Big club gone Wheres the big club gone Far....Far...away Delighted to see them go down. I hope Hughes takes an interest in Pennant
pleasure Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I hope Hughes takes an interest in Pennant 404059 so do i, as will 'manchester bar and nightclub' owners. if he can use bellers as a role-model, he'd be a great signing.
