Paul Mellelieu Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Bad result for Rovers. We needed them to go to Bolton with something to play for.... who am I kidding?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Putting on my best 'big club' accent............ TA RA A BIT!!!!!!!!
James No. 7 Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 My heart bleeds for them.... not! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P
philipl Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Well that's a steaming pile of malodorous effluent we won't have to be bothered with next season. BYE BYE BIG CLUB. Enjoy your Black Country derbies and watch out for the rubber johny boys.
Grabbi Graeme Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 No doubt Sutton will be first out of the door , just like he did when we went down
grizfoot Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 I feel slightly sorry for them .. Not Who's the 'Big Club' now?
RoyRover Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Enjoy the 1st Division lads, with all the other 'big' clubs! I'm sure Robbie Savage is having a chuckle to himself tonight. I'm just waiting for the mass exodus of players now.
greggyk Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Saw Sav and Brian Hughes having a chuckle with each other in the tunnel before todays game. Wonder what they were laughing at?!!
broadsword Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Get down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Get down deeper and down
ihtd Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Ooooh could it get any better in one afternoon of football, a Rovers win with a great team performance away from home and the not just big club but the worldwide super club Birmingham City getting relegated. Pinch me, am i dreaming.
Wolves_Rover Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Bye Bye "Big Club" Don't let the door hit you on your way out!
joey_big_nose Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 This has to be right up there with West Ham in terms of quality players going down. Well don 'arry by the way! From our point of view Heskey, Pennant and Jarosik are all worth more than a look. Pennant particlarly is utterly ideal for us ad we could get him for a bargain two or three million depeding upon interest in him.
tcj_jones Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Now that Birmingham are down, I think Hughesy should make Pennant his number one transfer target. Other than Pennat though, I can't see any other players good enough for a European run. Pennant and two top class strikers and we will go a long way next season!
emglch Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 (edited) yes... pennant will be a good signing... will surely improve the right winger position. but i expect stiff competition from other clubs as well... Heskey may also be on our target list should we can't sign any better striker(s). Edited April 30, 2006 by emglch
McClarky Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Pennant would add to our public enemy number 1 status allright. Hw could give Bellers a few tips on how to survive inside. I'm so glad that Pompey stayed up though as they have been great recently and have a fantastic support. Its amazing how their 20,000 can make their ground amongst the most intimidating around.
roversWASmylife Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Bye bye. They won't be back for a while I hope
