Mark Hughes has decided to omit Lucas Neill and Brett Emerton from the squad to meet Manchester City tomorrow.

Hughes understandably believes that they both need time to recover from their World Cup qualification, games against Uraguay, in South America and Australia.

However there is better news, in that Ryan Nelsen, Robbie Savage and Michael Gray are is expected to be fit in time for the game.
