modes98 Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 After saturdays game this could either spur us on to have a good run or knock us back and we have a bad run. Going for a tight win for rovers, 2-0. Charlton throw everything at us in the last 10 and we score the second.
rover6 Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Didn't know about this; talk about lucky escape... Rovers to win 2-1 Kuqi and Bellamy Ambrose for the Addicks.
Oklahoma Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 1-0 Rovers Bad game, our goal comes from a Pedersen direct corner.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 (edited) 1-0 Rovers Bad game, our goal comes from a Pedersen direct corner. 363982 I keep waiting for Pedersen to score direct from a corner. It will almost definitely happen at some point. Maybe better to save it for United / Chelsea or Arsenal at home - 90'th minute to win 1-0. Can you imagine the press coverage we would get Edited November 30, 2005 by DavidMailsTightPerm
pick32 Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 3-1 rovers bellamy pedersen nelsen ambrose thats what it should go like on paper but i think it could go either way not sure about this one come on rovers
Rover4ever Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Didn't know about this; talk about lucky escape... Rovers to win 2-1 Kuqi and Bellamy Ambrose for the Addicks. 363952 That was close! I am somewhat worried that if Nelsen carries on like this he may be picked up by Arsenal or Liverpool pretty soon
joey_big_nose Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 That was close! I am somewhat worried that if Nelsen carries on like this he may be picked up by Arsenal or Liverpool pretty soon 363996 We have three (maybe four) players in that category. Nelsen, Pedersen, Bellamy and, with his current vein of form, Niell all will attract interest from the big clubs. It is just a fact of life, we need to get on with it and, in Hughes, we have a manager they all like playing for. If our hand is forced into letting them go we should make healthy profits plus we have the comfort of Sparky's record in the transfer market. Also out of those only Bellamy is utterly irreplaceable (the most talented striker we have had since Shearer? Causes far more problems for the oppositon than Cole or Jansen in their best periods imho), Nelsen is a fantastic defender and all round professional but we would not be completely at sea if Hughes could unearth another player of Zurab's quality to come in. We should do absolutely everything to hold on to him though. The one person we cannot afford to lose is Hughes himself. Everything at the club is becoming increasingly built around him.
1864roverite Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 a win would be nice and without the need for extra time
rog of the rovers Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Is the game available anywhere online? Radio lancs? Radio Kent?
Manchester Blue Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Bentley up front is an interesting one, Zurab in for Neill is the other change from Saturday.
Quack Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 2-1 Rovers, Ambrose for them, MGP / Bentley with no extra time - that will do nicely.
joey_big_nose Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 (edited) Full side Friedel, Khizanishvili, Todd ©, Nelsen, Gray, Emerton, Reid, Savage, Pedersen, Bentley, Bellamy. Subs: Enckelman, Kuqi, Mokoena, Thompson, Matteo. Very interested to see what Bentley can do. Make or break for him? If he can add a bit of guile that would be smashing. Not holding my breath though.... Charlton Kiely, Young ©, Hreidarsson, Kishishev, Bent, Murphy, El Karkouri, Ambrose, Johansson, Powell, Smertin. Subs: Myhre, Thomas, Hughes, Spector, Bothroyd. Strong side with Murphy and Smertin in the centre. Suprised to see Thomas on the bench, I thought he was one of their best performers although to be fair I havn't caught too many of their games. WaffleWag Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 (edited) Is the game available anywhere online? Radio lancs? Radio Kent? 364002 Yes the full match is on Radio Lancs. but not online Edited November 30, 2005 by WaffleWag
krislu Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 (edited) Bentley up front is an interesting one 364004 I saw that, and now we can all see how he does in his natural position, I still think he's crap though. Please prove me wrong you sissy... Edited November 30, 2005 by krislu

bellamy11 Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Radio Lancs packed in for me, looks like it's the Roversworld coverage for me.
blue/white Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 (edited) rubbish. Edited November 30, 2005 by blue/white
1864roverite Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Ozz I think Jansen has a thigh strain Rover have one disallowed and Bellamy is running the defence ragged
Dan Furness Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Leicester 1 up on Noblot ! 364020 Are they ######!!!
joey_big_nose Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 1-0 Charlton half time. Bentley sounds like he has been decent, as does Kishi. Savage and Gray both seem to have had a poor first half. Time for the fabled Sparky team talk!
nonaynevernomore Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 f****n ell ! said on radio lancs savage is up to his old tricks again. just play football and dont be a girl. bellamy missed a sitter as well we need to put one on ones away. youd know a team would end a bad run versus us it always happens.
ihtd Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Savage, he really needs to learn that giving needless fouls away is not on, not even for a Championship player nevermind a Premiership player. Bently upfront, well i got my doubts about that, but if it works out in the 2nd half well, i'll be very happy. Charlton are there for the taking the team pulls their socks up in the second half, and as for Bellers, he should have buried that chance he had.
