Paul Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 £20 for juniors, wigan are having a ###### laugh 364519[/snapback] Well we're still going but have to say I am utterly p1ssed off with the pricing. Only one solution, out sing and out play them. £90 this going to cost. Football is simply not worth that amount of money. No wonder crowds are declining.
Modi Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I'm going, but not having more than an couple. On call New Years Eve night (and Christmas Eve night).

jim mk2 Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Now here's a good reason for attending the Wigan match. Dave Whelan has announced that all Rovers suporters entering the JJB Stadium will be given free pies as a "thank you" to the club he was proud to represent as a a player in the late 1950s/early 1960s. I've ordered mine, with a double helping of peas and gravy.

mhead Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Our consortia is up to 8 tickets for Wigan match so could be 16 to 20 by end of next week. 5000 may not be enough and we will surely be buying tickets for Wigan areas as well. Pie or no pies.
Claytons Left Boot Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Think I might treat my daughter to her first away match at the JJB. I've been there many, many times watching the Warriors and I've got to say the accoustics in the ends behind the goals are fantastic. It should be very loud and a superb atmosphere. This is going to be one of those games like Carlisle in 1982 or thereabouts when, surprisingly, thousands of away fans turned up. Get your tickets quickly or be disappointed.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 VERY nice gesture from Dave Whelan ...demand is sure to be high for this game. Tickets on sale to season ticket holders as from this Monday.
SAS Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 i`m not a season ticket holder, anyone want to lend me one
andyrovers Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 I'm going but my Auntie is'nt so i'll get your ticket tomorrow if you want PM/text me mate

BRFC4EVA Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Good thing there is a large allocation, as this match is gonna be very popular! I will get my ticket tomoz, probably do it after the intial rush at like 3.30 in the afternoon or something similar to that. How many diff types of pies do they do also?

Quack Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 There was no queue at the TO this morning, does any one know about parking at or around the JJB? - have only been to the preseason friendly and you could park directly outside the ground - thanks.
roversWASmylife Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I was there around 9am this morning just after. About 10/15 people in the queue and most were buying about 4/5 tickets each it looked. Got mine, Row DD.
