Bing Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Sky's news ticker is saying that Savage is ruled out today. Reid moving back into midfield seems the obvious move.
Bobby G Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Disappointing. Couldve used his fight in the middle. Especially against one of those sides away from home, who we need to outfight.
krislu Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Today's lineup: ROVERS: Friedel, Neill, Khizanishvili, Todd ©, Gray, Emerton, Tugay, Savage, Pedersen, Bentley, Dickov. Subs: Enckelman, Kuqi, Reid, Mokoena, Thompson
modes98 Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Great save from bradders kept us at 0-0, not a good first half so far. MGP sounds ok thank god, needs to get those skills on display!
Exiled_Rover Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Our defence has gone awol this season, it's pathetic.
sleepyjack Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 1-0 to Fulham, Bouba Diop unmarked. Emerton missed an open goal a few minutes beforehand.
modes98 Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 (edited) How do we manage to screw it up everytime it gets to just before half time. Hope we have a much better second half as we have done in recent times. But for a few chances created by MGP and Emmo, it's been a awful game and needs the kuqi factor to get us back into it! Come on Rovers edit: can we get galli back he's just scored again for stoke! Edited December 17, 2005 by modes98
yellowsubmarine Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Do we really need to concede a goal just before halftime to wake the players up for the second half. Keeping fingers crossed for another comeback!
G Somerset Rover Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 This is true are 1st halves have been pathetic this season. Lets hope what Steven Reid says holds true about our fitness getting us back into games. Why oh why is Shefki not getting more time? He unsettles defenders.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Bring back 4-5-1 when Bellamy's injured, we don't have the talent upfront to play two without him. Horrible, horrible defending again I might add. Pedersen has been a waste of space for about a month now, what is up with that boy?
roversmum Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 It was a similar situation with Souey. You could almost always be sure that a goal would be scored just before half time or full time. In those days, though, the squad were not fit. There's absolutely no excuse now . Come on, lads, this is Fulham, for goodness sake!
nonaynevernomore Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 COME ON YOU BLUES!! were not going to get nothing we cr@p away from home!!! scumley 2 up
nonaynevernomore Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 lets face it without bellamy and nelson we r crap and pedersen is crap this season
stuwilky Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 I seriously think its time for Sergio to at least be named in the 16, give Pedersen a proverbial kick.

Thats what we are playing because for some reason Hughes thinks it's better to never try and win a game playing 4-5-1 with that waste of space Bentley on the pitch for every minte of every game. There's no possible way for him to justify 4-5-1. We started that way at Charlton and were crap until we changed it and the same against West Ham. We haven't scored in 8 games this season, which is soon to be 9 all done to Hughes's awful tactics. We keep throwing away easy points in easy games because we play 4-5-1 and can't create enough chances because we have nothing up front.
Nayef Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Slowly sinking down the table. Ever had that feeling before... Same old Rovers.

Bentley and Dickov are playing upfront. My maths isn't what it used to be, but I'm still quite sure that means we have two strikers playing.
Rovers_4_life Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Bentley's not playing upfront and isn't worth a place in any premiership side but for some reason is idolised by Hughes and must remain in the side when it is blatantly obivous he isn't good enough. He couldn't get anywhere near the Norwich side last year and doesn't look to have improved at all. Why not start Kuqi at least he puts hmself about and causes problems.
modes98 Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Yellows are mounting up, Dickov and Lucas out of boro game now. We look lost without Bellers and Nelsen, hughes needs the funds to buy in jan! At least we are pressuring them for a period of time!

We're playing the same team as last week except Todd is playing instead of Reid. 4-4-2. I'd rather have Bentley playing than Kuqi anyday. 2-1. COME ON!
cloggyjimmybrfc Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 54.5% pressure by bburn but still nowt, dickov as been offside more times that jordans dropped her knickers!
