RovertheHill Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 What the bloody hell were you planning on doing there at 6.30? 369498 Well, if you must know my itinerary it would have gone as follows 6.30 - park car on muddy field 6.35 - leave car after getting daughter kitted out in jumpers, scarves, coats, gloves provided by wife 6.40 - 7.10 (queue + eating time) - bag of chips to share from Red Dragon 7.10 - enter ground 7.15 - finally get up steps to BBE top tier 7-20 - start breathing again 7-22 - order pie and drink for daughter 7-30 - staff finally add it up and work out change from a fiver 7-35 - take seats ready for kick-off 7-40 - escort daughter back down to toilet

Shaddy Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 7-40 - escort daughter back down to toilet 369755 Have you heard Bill Cosby's "Daddy, I need to pee pee" sketch? Basically goes that his wife makes him take his young daughter to an American footy match. His team, who rarely win, are inches away from a touchdown, high tension and all... and his daughter demands to go to the washroom. Sounds like you have a little in common with Mr. Cosby.
Tony Diamond Inc Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 We can't change anything. 369658 Can I change my undies?, I like to - every Thursday, after my weekly bath!
only2garners Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 My brother had to take my nephew to the toilet late on in the West Ham game and they missed kuqi's winning goal. I'm thinking of bribing him to go again at key times!
eddiemd Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Really gutted that the match was called off last night, esspecially as i bought my ticket at 17:45 and I asked if it was still on and they said yes, nothing about a pitch inspection. On a plus point went I went back to see if I could get a refund on my ticket (as I might no be able to make it to the rescedualed match) They alowed me to exchange my ticket for the Pompy match on monday. So some thing good came of the night, I now get to go to Ewood on Monday. just hope it a bit warmer

den Posted February 11, 2006 Author Posted February 11, 2006 Shall we use this for the rearranged game?
Wolverine Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 It looks like you already are! 12 - 0 sunderland, john stead
Ben-2000 Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 A comfortable win for Rovers, with Stead sneaking a consolation near the end. Att: 19,307
Gareth Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Depends which version of Rovers turn up: If we play like we did vs Utd: we'll win quite easily If we play like we did vs Everton/Brom: Sunderland 2-0 I actually have no idea.
James No. 7 Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Come on Rovers! Make this count! 5-0 to the Rovers. Bellamy 2, Pedersen, Reid, Bentley. We know we're good enough for Europe if we put in the effort. I am confident we won't do another Everton. We'll beat them and put ourselves back on track for the coveted sixth spot.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 We go to 6TH if we can win this one against a p1ss poor Sunderland side!! PLEASE! dont balls this one up blues
Bobby G Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Though I would have thought we have blown any outside chance of Champs League football due to our two defeats.
John Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Jansen did play well for Bolton - looks like he is going to get a run of games. You would think he will only get better as well. I know he wanted to leave but the timing of it was when we ran into a striker crisis and he would have surely had chance.... anyway, no point looking back.
cletus Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 . 383485 couldn`t have said it better myself!
yellowsubmarine Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 There's no place for pussy cats on Wednesday! Rovers must treat the Sunderland game seriously! Losing to the worst team in the league is sooooooooooooo unthinkable.. Co'mon Rovers!!
nolan9 Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 I think Sunderland will be up for it after they have just got a late equaliser against spurs. Darryl Murphy i think who got it. Even so i think we should win comfortably but i have got a bad feeling about the game.
Alan75 Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Lets not build up our hopes too much, Rovers have a habit of making life difficult, against the lower placed teams. I just hope Mark Hughes makes it clear to the team, that failure to produce on Wednesday will not be acceptable.
bellamy11 Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Good result for your lot PhilipL, Spurs aren't a bad team. Will you be starting Murphy against Rovers?
philipl Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Some guy called Saunders has offered me a load of scarcely used red and white traffic cones. He thinks facing them will have a bigger psychological effect on some of the old Rovers players than facing some scarcely used red and white Sunderland players. D Murphy plays for Spurs now- did he change sides?
BRFC4EVA Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Hopefully a big travelling support from Sunderland to help boost the average crowd. How many did we give them, 5,500? Heard they had sold 4k for the 28th clash This game is really important for us. A victory and all of a sudden we are in 6th place before the fa cup break and everyone is happy again. Loose, and our season is over. Or am i being a little dramatic?
