bob fleming Posted January 11, 2006 Author Posted January 11, 2006 doing what? 373522 Mainly looking like dodgy Mancs. Talking of Asian betting philipl, what are the odds on the floodlights failing in the second half tonight? About evens?
Tris Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 On hols in Seville, Spain and just found an Irish bar by the Cathedral showing tonights game, bet I´m the only rovers fan in there come 9pm but I´ll be the only one smiling.. 2-0 rovers Back for notlob Saturday 373398 No way BB!! Was in Seville for work for a couple of days in late August 1997, and watched a Rovers game in the very same bar. They opened the back room specially for me! The score at the end of an enjoyable night was Rovers 7 - Sheffield Wednesday 2. The locals couldn't believe the exhilerating football they were watching, more and more folk came through from the main bar to the TV room as Rovers racked up the goals. They all said they'd support Rovers as their "English team" after that game!! So there may be a few Rovers converts around!!! COME ON LADS 7-2 WOULD DO JUST NICELY TONIGHT!!
Grabbi Graeme Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 SSN speculating that Man U new signing Patrice Evra won't be playing , so expect him to be in the starting line up then.
Billy Castell Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 6-0 Blackburn. Hell, everyone else is being sensible, so I'm going for a Nottingham Forest styled thrashing of the Red Satanists.

Ozz Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 alot of people outside ewood at the mo 373519 Thats some pair of binoculars you got there Yorkblues.
krislu Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Don't want to predict a score as I'm usually spot on, and I have a bad feeling about this one..
nonaynevernomore Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Reported to be 22 000 tickets bought 4 tonight
RevidgeBlue Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 COME ON LADS 7-2 WOULD DO JUST NICELY TONIGHT!! 373530 Without them getting the two away goals! Damn you Hughes! Haven't felt this amount of stomach churning anticipation before a game for years. We're playing so well I EXPECT us to win tonight. Never mind that, this is what it's all about, not talk of survival etc. Once again LET'S DO IT FOR JACK.
1864roverite Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Don't want to predict a score as I'm usually spot on, and I have a bad feeling about this one.. 373547 at 1400hrs John William appeared on sky and said the crowd was nearing 24-25k depending on ticket sales this afternoon. 22k can take a hike, its will be around 25k plus
philipl Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 In other words, the lowest Rovers v Man U crowd since Ewood was rebuilt.
Bobby G Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 If we can really take the game to United, I got a good feeling that we can get a respectable result. Id say we need a 2-0 scoreline to have a chance in the next leg.
pick32 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 weve got to sell more than 22,000 my who are newcastle and liverpool fans are even going. i think it should be a sell out but we will get about 26k
USABlue Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 In other words, the lowest Rovers v Man U crowd since Ewood was rebuilt. 373556 Do you screw up kiddies birthday parties as well phillip
Rovers Air Force Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 about 40 foot today! from the couch down stairs to my study!
AlanK Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Man.U have the their 1st team playing except Van.N.
philipl Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Another party pooper. Mancs are at full strength except for Saha starting in place of Van Nistelrooyd. Rovers starting with Gray, Savage, Tugay, Bentley and the only surprise- Kuqi with Bellamy.
Bobby G Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 (edited) What a Bser Fergie is. And he is doing it against little ol Blackburn. How times have changed. No Peter and Thommo in the 16. Edited January 11, 2006 by Bobby G
herbergeehh Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Would've liked to see Peter on the bench, and Dickov instead of Kuqi upfront.. oh well, let's get them anyway.
pick32 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 he said in recent weeks he was playing fringe players only first team players missing are scholes and v nistlerooy but saying that apart from him there bench isnt to convincing
krislu Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 ROVERS: Friedel, Neill, Todd ©, Nelsen, Gray, Bentley, Tugay, Savage, Pedersen, Kuqi, Bellamy. Subs: Enckelman, Khizanishvili, Emerton, Dickov, Reid. MAN UTD: Van der Sar, Neville ©, Ferdinand, Brown, Ronaldo, Rooney, Saha, Giggs, Smith, Fletcher, Silvestre. Subs: Howard, van Nistelrooy, O'Shea, Bardsley, Rossi. Not their best team? How stupid can Ferguson be, only Nistelrooy aint in the starting XI.
