tchocky Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Really interested to know what happened in the tunnel there! We are playing very well now, although had a dodgy patch in the middle of the half. Shame we have to play against 12 .....

Esulx Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Paul Jewell, Kevin Moran and Jason McAteer on Sky saying it was never a penalty!!!
RovertheHill Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Also blaming Sav for the incident even tho Horse fouled him and then Rio gave him a nudge on the way past into the tunnel. Pathetic
doctorryan Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 (edited) If the first-half was any indicator, the 2nd-half will not be for the feint of heart. The pitch is in crummy shape and Mr. Poll isn't much better tonight I'm afraid. The penalty was weak, but Brad was there when we really needed him. Sav & Rio in the tunnel going off the pitch. I hope everyone in the US can see this one. Setanta USA Channel 615 on DirecTV. Hey blue/white; did you take a laptop to the pub with you? Edited January 25, 2006 by doctorryan

Blueboy Downunder Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 we now have to come out and play really solid football. we will get a chance to score again...we just gotta make it count!! COME ON LADS!!
USRoverME Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 from espn soccernet front page: "The Carling Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Blackburn remains evenly poised with the teams locked at 1-1 at the interval. Ruud van Nistelrooy capitalised on a defensive mix-up to net an early opener before Steven Reid followed suit just after the half hour. But tempers began to fray when Van Nistelrooy saw a hotly contested penalty saved by Brad Friedel. And then there appeared to be a brawl in the tunnel as the teams left the pitch, with Rio Ferdinand in a ruck with Robbie Savage."
USRoverME Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 don't ask him post the link on the board, ffs! surely anyone who reads this board knows the legal liability issues...
evukovic Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Friedel with another blinder... Gray man what are you doing???
Esulx Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Did Zurab not learn from the first handball. He almost gave another penalty away. Great save Brad... again!!!

brfcjon Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 isnt graham poll usually a fair ref. it seems the scum doesnt have to play by the rules. every 50/50 goes their way and we wont be getting anything that isnt absolutely clear. And FXXX saha mis hit it and it goes in....
evukovic Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 That's alright, I'm not silly enough to post in direct in the forum... CRAP!
fumofumo Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 tugay's lost the ball, no freekick for him. fletcher prompty crossed the ball for saha to volley in.
