Hasta Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 I know Boro still sing "Who's that team they call the Boro" and I think they are the only team I know that still sing it. However I remember it very vaguely from the 80's being sung by Rovers fans and my Dad says it was sang long before that. If so, what were the words? Quote

Florida Rover Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 (edited) I know Boro still sing "Who's that team they call the Boro" and I think they are the only team I know that still sing it. However I remember it very vaguely from the 80's being sung by Rovers fans and my Dad says it was sang long before that. If so, what were the words? 374585[/snapback] just a lookup on yahoo yielded these lyrics for the chant but not sure how they would be twisted for Rovers. The Georidies went to Rome to see the Pope. The Georidies went to Rome to see the Pope. The Georidies went to Rome to see the Pope. And this is what he said. Who's that team they call the Boro. Who's that team we all adore. Cause they play in Red and White. And their F**king dynomite. And we will support Boro evermore and apparently here is a Luton Town version: The ****y Watford FC went to Rome to see The Pope The ****y Watford FC went to Rome to see The Pope The ****y Watford FC went to Rome to see The Pope And this is what he said: "F*** OFF! Who's that team they call the Luton? Who's that team they all adore?" Well, we play in Black and White, And we're f***ing dynamite, AND Tony Thorpe's mother is a whore! She's a whore! She's a whore! Tony Thorpe's mother is a whore! Edited January 17, 2006 by Florida Rover Quote
