greggyk Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 After reading todays message on the official site about the highest PL gate expected tomorrow. Im guessing the gate will be around 23k

philipl Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 So our biggest gate this season will be less than the AVERAGE gate two seasons ago when it was 24,000. Forget about three seasons ago when it was 26,000.
Manchester Blue Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 We can whine all we want but when United tickets go on general sale for the first time in over ten years, for them that is, surely it is obvious that the problem is widespread. People can only pay so much.
Ozz Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Sounds like Rio is wary of repercussions tomorrow night, as he is keen to play down the battle of the Tunnell. Soft get. MurdochWorldDominationEnterprisesLtd
gazsimm Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 it should be good to watch tommorrow night if rio plays in midfield after what happend with him ans Savage the other night i don't think there we be 11 v 11 by the end of tommorrow night anyway come on the rovers revenge will be sweet
Hughesy Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 we should play 4-5-1 tomorrow night, with Tugay, Savage & the axe in the middle. Im sure they would get stuck into rooney & rio! Reid & Pedersen out wide.
gazsimm Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Is Bellers fit for the game or not i bloody hope so how much do we miss him when he is not in the team as it showed last week at old trafford
gazsimm Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I see that Bellers is not in the squad, i feel the worst for tommorrow night unless we bring someone in today

But it may be different for midweek games, as they ahve later kick offs!

And as for Bently he is a far better player on the right of midfield
The Gull Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Former house mate of mine is a season ticket holder at the Glazer Dome, one of the daft gits that protested in manchester, and he tells me they have defo sold out as he had to get a ticket off a lad that can't go now. Fancy a draw tommorrow as don't know whether I'm going to be able to make it because of work. Rovers 2 Manure 2 Reid, Pedersen for us, Rooney and the horse for them, Attendance 24000, or 25000 if we pick up a surprise signing tonight.
Rover4ever Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Attendance 24000, or 25000 if we pick up a surprise signing tonight. 380155 25000 it shall be then But is Pongolle eligible for tomorrow?
trs Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 25000 it shall be then But is Pongolle eligible for tomorrow? 380236 No and damn No!!!!!

" That was an update from their website at 14:00 today. It presumably means a number of tickets are available, in fact it definitely means. I hope they do sell out as it all puts money in the Rovers coffers, but they haven't done yet.

Hasta Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Whilst not wishing to sound like a stuck record it definately said that the game was sold out from Man U's point of view last Wednesday at Old Trafford. I can only presume that they have unsold tickets allocated from travel trips / corporate trips that have been given to the public. Alternatively, maybe Rovers were initially going to do the same sort of segregation we used against Burnley with rows netted off but have now released more of them tickets to the mancs.

I know, I know.
joey_big_nose Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Shame that Pongolle cannot play, with him in the side I would of hoped for a bit of debut magic. As it is: Kuqi Bentley Pedesen Reid Savage Emerton Gray Nelsen Todd Niell Friedel Subs: Encks, Zurab, Moko, Tugay, Peter We lose 2-1 again. Its so frustrating because you know if you stuck Bellamy and Pongo up top we would be favourites coming into this.
Bobby G Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Dammit Kuqi and Bentley up front again!!!!AHHHH... No teeth up front against the SCUM. This is lame. I just hope we can get a point out of this game otherwise, it would have been a disappointing 7-8 days.
Hughesy Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Rovers, hopefully might be fired up for tomorrow after the recent defeat in the cup. 1-1 - Saha for them, Pedersen for us 26,000 attendance
Oklahoma Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 (edited) I want revenge. 2-0 MGP and Tugay Edited January 31, 2006 by Oklahoma
Bobby G Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Would have loved to see Pongolle play but it looks like we will have to do. On a side note, United didnt sign any midfield cover and it looks like Ol Rio will be their holding player, coming face to face with Robbie Savage! The only reservation I have about tonight is our strikeforce, especially as Kuqi has ran out of steam during the last few games and looks a shadow of his "former" self.
Backroom trueblue Posted February 1, 2006 Backroom Posted February 1, 2006 What's the news on Bellamy? is he fit enough to make an appearance tonight?
Cocker Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Would have loved to see Pongolle play but it looks like we will have to do. You know what would have happened if he did play dont you. We are playing Utd who are no push overs at the best of times and if Pongy didnt score then the board would be full of slatings for hughes signing him. In a way, I am quite glad he isnt playing. Unleash him and Bellers against West Brom on Sat - that should be fun
