Well we have had...

Deliberate Handball in non existant Injury Time leading to an equaliser,

(Saha last year)

Penalties for one side but not the other for the same offence,

(Ferdinand last week)

Sending Off defenders and giving penalties for not touching the opposition,

(Berg off Ashby)

Disallowing late headed  equalisers on the basis of nothing,

(Sherwood At OT)

Anymore..?

And there was the corner that never was off Hendry that lead to their equaliser at OT in about 94/95.

Final score tonight 0-0, same score at half-time.

1992 / 93 when they had their Premier League party at OT and we needed to win to try to get into Europe.

Rovers leading 1-0 and Paul Parker blatantly trips Wilcox. No penalty. Ref states years later it would have 'felt inappropriate' to spoint the party.

Dwight Yorke goal incorrectly ruled out for offside.

Grabbis great goal ruled out for a foul on Clown Barthez. ( I sometimes ponder what might have been had that goal been allowed to stand)

Todays line up:

ROVERS: Friedel, Neill, Todd ©, Nelsen, Gray, Reid, Tugay, Savage, Pedersen, Bentley, Kuqi.

Subs: Enckelman, Emerton, Mokoena, Johnson, Peter.

MAN UTD: Van der Sar, Neville ©, Evra, Ferdinand, Brown, Ronaldo, Rooney, Saha, Vidic, Richardson, Fletcher.

Subs: Howard, van Nistelrooy, Park, Silvestre, Pique.

I have no clue how ManU's midfield will look, but it seems like Ferdinand is going to take the central role alongside Fletcher.

Todd for Zurab and Tugay for Axe.

Zurab not in the 16.

Bench is Encks, Emo, Axe, JJ, Peter.

I like the fact that Hughes drops players for making big mistakes - they all realise that there are consequences for lapses in concentration.

Game being shown here with 2 hour tape delay, so I'm off into a soundproof box until then.

Rovers to win 1-0, Kuqi swallow dive

That goal looked hilarous biggrin.gif

Both of Bentley's goals were real tap-ins, but it's still good for his confidence and at least he's in the right place to tap them in.
