roversyoyo Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 If the result stays as it is, this week will sum up exactly what it is to be a blackburn rovers supporter. On a high one minute and then brought back down to earth with a massive bump the next

nonaynevernomore Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Its fine having a good/better second half we need to start games better.
yellowsubmarine Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Let's get a goal back first... then another in the 80th minute.. and we will pop in the winner in the 93rd minute! Co'mon Rovers!!!!
ihtd Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 At 1-0 i would feel optimistic that we could get something out of this game, but at 2-0 and with time ticking down, i feel its another loss that could have been avoided. Hopefully this will teach the lads not to get to big-headed just because they beat Manure. Its ok riding on a high but you have to come down at some point.
krislu Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Sounds like we are really poor today, and I must say its quite disappointing to be played of the park by a team like WBA..
1864roverite Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 too little too late rovers appear now to be the dominant side but with a 2-0 deficit its gonna take too much to get them back, especially as the keeper from wba has not even had to make a save
ihtd Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 (edited) This game will have killed off any of the confidence casual fans have gained in Rovers, could see those who were thinking of returning to Ewood Park for games rethinknig and staying away after today. Isn't football a strange game, one night you beat one of the best teams in world football 4-3, the next game you are losing to a team in the relegation zone Edited February 4, 2006 by ihatethedingles
ABBEY Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 AH WELL CONGRATS BLUES ON SUCH A GOOD RUN IN THE LEAGUE ...ALL THINGS COME TO END...STILL PROUD TO BE ROVER!!!
ihtd Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Poor, Poor performance against a poor team. 3 points dropped in my opinion. Hopefully Bellers might be back for the Everton game and Everton have a mid-week game don't they against Chelski in the cup, could be our chance to capatilise for once on the fatigue of another side.
Shevchenko Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Ach..hardly surprising really. Typical Rovers to play so well midweek and being so poor just a few days later. Oh well.
ihtd Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 (edited) Exiled Rover have you watched the game? If so, i'd like to hear your opinion on how badly we have played. What has Pongo stick done to merit being called crap after 30minutes of his debut. FULL TIME WBA 2 ROVERS 0 A dissapointing day for the lads and us fans. That has brought us all back down to Earth with a bang. Edited February 4, 2006 by ihatethedingles
modes98 Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Frustrating to say the least, Should have got at least a point out of this game. Most of the hard work agains Manyoo has now been lost. Down to at least 9th in the table, just hope a weeks rest does us the world of good and we beat everton!
Rovers_4_life Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 CRAP, CRAP, CRAP! Slightly embarising result after all that has been said and done over the last week. If we have any aspirations of getting a top 6 finish we should be going to places like West Brom and at the very worst getting a draw.
1864roverite Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 echo that abs but really its a kick in the nackers
Rover4ever Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 This game will have killed off any of the confidence casual fans have gaine din Rovers, could see those who were thinking of returning to Ewood Park for games rethinknig and staying away after today. Isn't football a strange game, one night you beat one of the best teams in world football 4-3, the next game you are losing to a team in the relegation zone 381845[/snapback] A lot of teams lost at the Hawthorns this season ,Arsenal ,Spurs (2-0) and Man City (2-0). I dotn think its such a catastrophe yet. WH are winning though while Wigans late equalizer means Bolton doesnt go more than a point ahead
ihtd Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 What is it with our side and poor first half performances? Tugay is a good player but age is catching up on him, he is becoming error prone but he still is a good player. On paper the worst case scenario for today should have been a draw, not an embarrassing defeat to a side who were in the relegation zone at the start of the day.
nonaynevernomore Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 DELETED. Language like that wont be tolerated.
OscarRaven Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Dr. Jekyll Rovers today. The next level is consistancy - the players are good enough.
chris Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 well for all you people in Heaven, our striker was still a Mr Kuqi, so bit ahead of yourselfs. still whats more disappointing is the fall of the defence lately
G Somerset Rover Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Think the two worst things about todays performance by all accounts is our bad defending, again, and our inability to create one proper chance against a relegation threatened club.
