Manchester Blue Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Me. The Newt near Birmingham New Street is a good meeting place 381685 Spot on only just noticed this. We're going to be in the Old Royal or the Old Contemptibles pre match but can meet up before. The Newt doesn't open open till 12 though so yard of ale is better to meet.

Quack Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Don't think this will be an easy game for the Rovers, 1-1 in a tired affair. MGP for us with a fre kick.

Fife Rover Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 We're screwed then... Brom 1-0 381314 With ref to the various signatures on this post could I ask the Mod's to adjudicate on whether this is a football supporters M.B. or a political M.B. Thank you.
Wolverine Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Brom 0 - Rovers 2. Reid and Tugay Come on - if the team are being optimistic all of a sudden, the least we can do is the same.
USABlue Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Brom 0 - Rovers 2. Reid and Tugay Come on - if the team are being optimistic all of a sudden, the least we can do is the same. 381772 But we are Rovers fans, we've been here before, many many times. Heard word Pongo may be ill for todays game.
Rovers_4_life Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 1-0 Rovers. Emerton to score and good solid defensive display this afternoon after a couple of dodgy ones.

den Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Rovers unchanged from Wednesday. Pongo on the bench, no Bellamy.
ihtd Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 No Bellamy again, that guy really needs to start earning his wage packet. I think the guy is an absolutely brilliant footballer, but he is collecting 30/40/50k a week to do f' all at the moment. I sympathise with him that his hamstrings are a problem but he needs to sort them out. Glad to see Pongo on the bench, could be a good subsitute with 15/20mins left, he could terrorise the WBA bench with his pace once Kuqi has worn them down with his size.
G Somerset Rover Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Please let it be that we didn't want to rush Bellers back as opposed to he's broken down AGAIN! Comon Rovers!!!

I'm sure he's just as frustrated as the rest of us that he can't get on the pitch. 'he needs to sort them out' What exactly do you suggest he does?
Brainfreeze Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 1-0 Baggies, Campbell scored. Damnit! Don't throw this one away Rovers!
promoted2001 Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Nuts, it's gonna be a bad day. Come on Rovers!
1864roverite Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 prognosis not too good for Bellamy according to insiders
Alex Rover Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 prognosis not too good for Bellamy according to insiders 381803 eh?
1864roverite Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 it suggested that Bellamys injury is being looked at long terma dn he may face surgery or rehabilitation that keeps him out for the season
modes98 Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 From whats been said he was 50/50 for this game, so it can't be all that bad. Not as bad as this game anyway, schoolboy errors yet again from us. After wednesday thought we would be intent on keeping our winning ways going. Brum 1-0 down!
Exiled_Rover Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Schoolboy errors at the back, Tugay being caught on the ball too much. On a positive note Bentley is looking good.
