Gumbi Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 (edited) Did the logo look any good on the shirt? Was it on a white background or a green one? Edited February 2, 2006 by Gumbi
rog of the rovers Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Did the logo look any good on the shirt? Was it on a white background or a green one? 381223 Didn't really get chance to see the logo I was mightly Pi$$ed off to see the badge and Lonsdale over the centre of the shirt!!!!!!!!!! MAJORLY PEED
Gumbi Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Just seen it. They've done it in the same way as I had suggested in the picture on the previous page. I'm guessing that as all 3 shirt designs had already been made, they just took one and put the logo on to show off the sponsorship deal. Even if that shirt does get chosen, the chances of the club badge staying in the middle are slim due to the massive amount of complaints the club would receive.
Blackpool_Rover Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 (edited) Saw it on SSN. Excellent news that its for the next 3 seasons, i seem to be buying new rovers shirts for fun these days! So technically the new shirt which comes out in summer will last 2 years. Although im sure Lonsdales deal will conviniently run out at the end of 2006-2007 season! I thought all Lonsdale shirts were for one season only?
Lee Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 The shirt was just merely a mockup to show off the Lonsdale. When a final shirt is produced the club crest will be in its usual position
ihateburnley Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Here it is... New Shirt seen on SSN 381235 Some people have far too much time on their hands
Bobby G Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I dont like the yellow, green and orange in their logo. Doesnt go with our colors.
wandel77 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 This is how it going to look like next year ! http://www.onsidedk.com/main/index.phtml?a...rt2=1&id=158244 from Danish footy site. Wandel
Bobby G Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 So many things I dont like about that kit which MGP is wearing.

Wandel 381289 I think it's gonna be a bit different..... The shirt was just merely a mockup to show off the Lonsdale. Gumbi Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 That's the design to Home Shirt 3 with the only difference being the placement of the badges and the collar being slightly different.
philipl Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 This is a great move. Bet 24 are based in.... Wait for it.... MALTA!
EIEIEIO Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I think the new shirt is spot on. Much better than this years anyhow. Better style, clean lines and a nicer shade of blue. Never been keen on having the shirt manufacturer as the main sponsor either.
Ste B Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 This is a great move. Bet 24 are based in.... Wait for it.... MALTA! 381318 So Dan Furness could well have been telling the truth when he said the guy who owned the company was having a beer with him ???
doctorryan Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 (edited) I think this is more along the lines of what we're looking for: Edited February 3, 2006 by doctorryan
BRFC4EVA Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Any kinda idea of the finaces involved with this deal? I presume it must be better than the longsdale (as sponser) deal werent we meant to have 1 of the worst deals in the prem at the start of the yr?
Bobby G Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Tribalfootball reports one of the papers saying its 3 million pounds for 3 years. also, doctorryans kit looks better than the mockup!
roverthemoon Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 At the end of this article it mentions a figure of £6 million. Click here
Bobby G Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Id be surprised if we are gettin 2 a year! but a would be brilliant!
tchocky Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Crap logo for our shirt. That thing is gonna look ugly no doubt, unless they change it. Their webpage certainly does not give the impression they are a top international firm. However they spend a lot on TV-commercials here.
