greggyk Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 (edited) so, whats your point???? just to quote 'Lawro' "Everton will make it really hard for Blackburn, which is not normally what Rovers ensure they do to other teams" OH MY BLUMMIN GOD!!!! How many times has Lawro said the complete oposite about us, rather than what he's said today Edited February 9, 2006 by greggyk
The Gull Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 The most pleasing aspect of Lawro's titbit though is thefact that he has us down for a loss, which can only be good for us!
1864roverite Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 exactly, I wonder if MH and co pin the Lawro predictions up in the changing rooms ?
allan Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Calm down. Everton under Moyes are like Bolton - thrive on adversity. Rovers made nothing of a weakened Bolton team last month and will do no better at Everton.
Bobby G Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 I always thought alot depends on the first goal and the stats prove it right in this game. If we concede, Everton are a tough nut to crack. But a loss would give our European ambitions a blow!
philipl Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 A draw is long over due for both sides. Everton have also made a habit of winning this sort of game in adversity and doing doubles over us. That said, we are well capable of winning there and have a Manager who is capable of setting the team up to get it. Hughes and the team bungled at West Brom- I am trying to remember an occasion in the last twelve months when they have mucked up performance and tactics two games running (that is a different issue from losing two or more games on the run).
krislu Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Looks like Peter might start as MGP hasn't trained all week due to a knee injury.
gazsimm Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 how many fans are we taking to everton tommorrow does anyone know i fancy us to win 3 - 1
Presty On Tour Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 skysports go for a 1-1 draw http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=36...ackburn+preview
modes98 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Got us down to keep a clean sheet, with 2 keepers out they don't look good defensively either. Easily winable for a team hasing europe, so are we one of those teams? Still undecided on peter, this is a game he needs to put a good performance in or shove bentley out left and play kuqi and bellers up front?
waggy Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 if mgp is not fit pater must start,i know it's spelt peter but it sounds pater

dave329 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 how many fans are we taking to everton tommorrow does anyone know i fancy us to win 3 - 1 383080 about 800-900 we sold yesterday
pleasure Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 about 800-900 we sold yesterday 383107 prob cos it's a @#/? view. ###### poor turn out i'll be there, hope we have more to cheer about than we did last week at west brom. if ped misses out, it'll be bellers, king pong upfront, bentley left and emo right (although id play peter).
Hughesy Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 According to LET Pedersen faces a late fitness test. If injured then i think we may find Bentley on the wing as it also says that Hughes is toying with the idea of playing Pongolle & Bellers from the start
The Gull Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Moyes has the Manager of the Month Award. Yet another good omen for a Rovers win
des Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 does anyone know if its being shown in any pubs in the area, cannot make the match due to work
Presty On Tour Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 i'm going for 3-0 to the rovers!!! team: friedel neill todd nelson gresko emerton savage tugay bentley bellamy kuqi subs: enks, zurab, reid, peter, sinama. i really don't think m.g.p is going to make it, i doubt hughsey will risk him if theres any problems. gray has been poor the last few games, maybe a shuffle and give gresko a chance. would like to see 3 up front, kuqi with bentley and bellamy dropping off. bentley to get things started, sub tugay, kuqi and bentley for sinama, reid and peter and bellamy and sinama to finish them off in the 2nd half.
