James No. 7 Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Make this count, Emo! And make this count, Rovers! A win here and we'll be riding on the clouds.
herbergeehh Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, poorly timed injury to Tugay!! Oh well, let's hope we can get an early goal then. C'mon Rovers!
krislu Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Line up should be: Friedel Neill - Todd - Nelsen - Gray Bentley - Reid - Savage - Emo Bellamy - Pongo 387139 ROVERS: Friedel, Neill, Todd ©, Nelsen, Gray, Bentley, Reid, Savage, Emerton, Sinama-Pongolle, Bellamy. WOW! Hughes really does read this forum...
Gareth Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 (edited) Great minds think alike! Edited March 5, 2006 by Gareth
Rover4ever Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Its a blessing in disguise that Reid and Savage are starting in the center, we need their energy away from home Btw, i have this feeling that its been a long time since a referee screwed us over at an away match. Be prepared for something today then.....
fumofumo Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 quite a nightmare to tell the 2 teams apart on TV.... rovers in blue and white while spuds in their white. ><
American Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Amazing goal. Whomever he beat the first move (it looked like Gray, but I have to go get my glasses) stood there and watched the whole rest of the play, not going after him and not looking to mark anyone who might be coming in late.
fumofumo Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 zzzz.... 2-0 to keane. freekick at the edge of the penalty box, saved by freidel but rebound tapped in by keane.
jim mk2 Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 2-0 handball goal. Rovers don't deserve to be losing this.
blinddevotion Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 2-0 handball goal. Rovers don't deserve to be losing this. 388472 We got one back
fumofumo Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 2-1 Pongolle. superb ball down the wings to bellers who crosses in for pongolle to dive in a header. almost instant response to keane's 2nd goal.
Rover4ever Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Clear handball by Keane, but we cant complain after the "Hand of Ped" Pongolle gets oen back!!!1 gr8 work by bellamy on the right
Maverick Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Ref 2 - 1 Blackburn Two big mistakes by the ass.ref & the ref on both Tottenhams goals. We should have had the throw before the first goal and a handball on the other. Great play off Bellamy and Sinama other goal.
Mr. E Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Thankfully we're still in the game thanks to that, but we need to find a way to stop Keane.
Rover4ever Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Dickov should come on for Bentley or Emerton after 60 minutes if we are still down Pongolle missed a sitter from 1 yard, yes one yard out Bellamy has been awesome whenever he had the space, while Bentley and Emerton were largely anonymous
mattyc2422 Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Absolutely cracking match so far. Keane's first goal was sheer class. 2-1 at the half but we have had the majority of the play. Sinama got his first Rovers goal. Huzzah. Entertaining game thus far.
G Somerset Rover Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 I thought Bentley's been wicked so far. Pongolle apart from his goal has been pretty woeful. Hopefuly Dickov will get a run later. Comon Blues don't let the ref win this one!
DanLad Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Was it handball by Nelsen for the free kick that resulted in Spurs second? If so, then Keane's was a definite free kick too, surely? Bad decision by the linesman for the first goal, too. He was only a couple of yards away! Great goal by Keane, though. Did anyone see Mido complaining that he didn't get a throw in after he manhandled Todd and the ball ran out of play. If I were the ref I'd have said "Oh, you didn't touch the ball didn't you Mister Mido, well that means it's a free kick against you for a foul on Todd. Good man for owning up" Also did anyone notice that we were having a good spell so the SKY commentator had to find something to slag us off for, so started papping about bad crowds at Ewood. Grrr! Let's hope the 'luck' balances out in the second half!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 (edited) Also did anyone notice that we were having a good spell so the SKY commentator had to find something to slag us off for, so started papping about bad crowds at Ewood. Grrr! 388482 I'm Listening to the game on radio 5 live and all the comments are predictably the same......poor crowds with un-passionate support, 'unfashionable club'. Same old. Philly Rover ® Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Sounds like the pace provided by Pongo and Bellamy is a handful for Spurs... come on Rovers!!!!!
fumofumo Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 crap... 3-2. mido. gray outrunned by lennon who centers the ball for mido to tap in
