herbergeehh Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Relegation teams usually get a lot of points the last month or so, but I agree, we should aim higher.

Eddie Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Finished 2-0, put us in a great position for UEFA cup. Come on Everton and West Brom!
Manchester Blue Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Spurs winning 1-0 sadly. West Brom having a real go at the mo but no goal to show for it.
tony gale's mic Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 (edited) spurs 1-0 up champions league is looking less and less likely, unless arsenal are somehow held by west brom and then go on to beat spurs AND we beat one of chelsea or liverpool. Edited April 15, 2006 by tony gale's mic
Manchester Blue Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Spurs 1-0 up. 399344[/snapback] You Shaduuuupppp
Manchester Blue Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 (edited) Arse one up as well now Incidentally this game is a perfect example if why it's crap when have a fan/pundit doing the commentary on Soccer Saturday. I've been following the Arse v WBA match via an internet stream and the baggies are really pushing and have come close a few times. However if you were just following what Charlie Nicholas says you'd know know none of this. He said the goal was just a matter of time but it was their first attack of note in over 10 mins. murray92 Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Yes, but to be fair Charlie Nich has been fair to us on a lot of times I remember this season, unlike some other pundits I do think he likes us. Lets be honest though it was always likely to come in this game - and they were always going to beat WBA. Just a sickener than it was on half time. We need Everton to take at least a point or else our focus tomorrow will be soley on the UEFA.
Manchester Blue Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 To be honest I think we are looking at needing around12 or 13 points to get 4th and I just can't see us getting that many. As long as we hold onto 6th i'll be delighted.
G Somerset Rover Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 It's looking increasingly likely that we'll finish 6th at least. Everton and Wigan are losing whilst Notlob obviously lost, so unless we have a shocker for the rest of the season Europe is within reach.
philipl Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 (edited) West Brom should have had a penalty. Now Bergkamp has scored a beauty to make it 3-1. Not a bad day in terms of what is happening below us but not good looking upwards. Edited April 15, 2006 by philipl
asianRover Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 our lingering CL dreams are quickly fading.. if rovers cant pull out e crucial 3 points tml, hola UEFA adios CL.
Mr. E Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Spurs win because of a penalty....what a shock. oh well, maybe next year.
greggyk Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Newcastle and West Ham back in the Uefa Cup race if we lose tomorrow. Which we wont!
Bobby G Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I think Newcastle and West Ham are in it for sure now.
Manchester Blue Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I reckon we need 9 points to guarantee 6th. Bolton have 3 easy home games and I can see them winning those, so a point at least tomorrow is a must. Come on Rovers keep it going.
Bobby G Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 7 points should be enough and I can see that coming our way.
