Lee Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Added to the fact that they'll be halfway through their league season also. Henning Berg was signed from Lillestrom.

greggyk Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Does it really matter how good Lillestroem are? We're Blackburn Rovers, in Europe, we're still not going to win.
Hughesy Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 (edited) We will be in europe anyway. We hopefully, wont need the inter-toto Edited April 10, 2006 by Hughesy
Mr. E Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 if Pompey let Arsenal win tonight then I hope they go down.
ihtd Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Pompey won't let them win, i think that they have a good chance against the Arsenal tonight, they are full of confidence at the moment and are Arsenal are without Francesc Fabrigas (Sp) and he seems to run the show from the centre of the field for them. With Pompey's twelth man being there-the crowd they could maybe steal a late winner.
Presty On Tour Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 arsenal are re-calling henry and sol campbell for tonights game according to ssn. hopefully campbell will be rusty and short of first team football and will be to pompeys and our advantage.
Hughesy Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I hope Lua Lua's pace causes Campbell problems. I really hope they can do us a favour and beat them
gazsimm Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 lets hope we will be hearing the pompey chimes in full volume tonight come on you pompy

At home, they can match anybody right now.
Jordan Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I can see Pompy doing us a favour tonight. If they do the balls in our court.
Manchester Blue Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Arsenal team tonight is surprising J Lehmann, J Djourou, S Campbell, K Toure, M Flamini, F Ljungberg, A Song Billong, V Diaby, J Reyes, T Henry, E Adebayor Subs: M Poom, D Bergkamp, R Van Persie, A Hleb, E Eboue Still very good but wuite a few rested.

Apart from that, and I don't think I've heard of Djourou, why is it surprising? Or was that why? Hmm, spose Diaby isn't all that either.

adopted scouser Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 1-0 Arsenal 398691[/snapback] Sooooo Slowwww
Eddie Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Sunderland's only home win of the season is going to come against Arsenal.
John Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Would hope for a draw in the arsenal match now - looking at their fixtures this should be one of their more difficult ones. Whatever happens, we need to win our games in the first place!!
T4E Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Hard to be confident about the rest of the game - Lehmann hasn't had a save to make in the first half.
philipl Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I think we did too good a job softening up Pompey. No way are they going to come back from going behind again.
Manchester Blue Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 (edited) That was quicker than real time ;-) Have to say in reply to Philipl I thought the very same. They have sounded awful to me. Edited April 12, 2006 by Manchester Blue
Manchester Blue Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 The clown that is Lua Lua has actually gone off injured after hurting himself doing his celebration.
