ABBEY Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Well, we've got 11 season tickets in our group, and after moving from the Darwen End to the Blackburn End, we got 11 together in the bottom corner. Yesterday, the ticket office called one of us, and asked us to go down to the ground to see if we could get better seats. Someone from the ticket office actually took my mate's dad into the Blackburn End to show him what seats were available for a group of 11. So we've now moved to the back, although we are slightly to one side. Just wanted to say well done to the club for putting themselves out like this. They could have easily left us where we were, but they made the effort to improve our seats. left or right?...if its the right WELCOME TO THE PIG PEN MAN!!!

stuwilky Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 On the right, if your facing the pitch. Think we're around row 29ish (2 rows), seats 28-33. Roll on August, cant wait. Right near Abbey then?!
Alan75 Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 10 seats away...welcome to jungle Yes we are rather shy and reserved on row 29, so keep the noise down and dont stand up.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Didn't get to see the LET yesterday! "It's still too early to say," said Williams. "We are not disappointed with season ticket sales, but at the same time we are not jumping for joy. It is difficult to compare.
trs Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Quote from JW "For two seasons on the trot, season ticket numbers declined. "We are optimistic this year that we will be able to reverse that trend, get those numbers back and also add a few more." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- If I am reading the above right does it mean that we are going to sell some 3,000 plus more than last seasons total. If so I think that's excellent news and better than I expected.
SAS Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 that also happened to my dad row was the seat and the seat was the row from what it should have been

78 Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 my renewal letters came with the wrong seat numbers Is this the postcard?
Ozz Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Just got back from renewing three season tickets. We have moved from the Darwen End to the Jack Walker upper. We asked if we could go in the ground (tongue in cheek) to check out the different blocks, rows and seats and the staff went out of their way to help. The security man unlocked about 20 doors, went up in a lift and round and round the inner workings of the stadium. Checked all the different options and picked the best we could. Granted we were spending over a grand, but the customer service given was absolutely the best I have ever received from any where. To go in and pick a seat, sit in it and try it out before buying-fantastic. Full marks to Rovers Office was busy too, with at least a dozen other renewals being made while I was there.
SAS Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 thats good to hear rovers doing this i heard 11,000 had been sold by last week
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 As expected, looking like a similar number to last season being sold in total. Season ticket sales in the fizzy pop league make interesting reading....... Norwich City 19,900 Derby County 16,240 Sheff Wed 15,000 WBA 15,000 Wolves 14,000+ Ipswich Town 13,500+ Hull City 11,00+ Birmingham City 10,000+ Crystal Palace 12,000 Leeds United 10,000 Southampton 7,000
Hughesy Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Any ideas when the new season ticket cards will be sent out - for those that will be getting new cards that is??
KingCrip Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 In time for the first home match? Nothing would suprise me, it is Rovers we are talking about! I'm still waiting for my ST too btw...
